How We Spent Christmas 2022

Whenever I watch the vlogs where extended family and friends are involved it makes me so happy that your 3 kids found such a wonderful home. They really won the foster care lottery. They were able to stay together, got parents who had the extra time to support them to catch up on any delays and are able to be very present due to their jobs, they have the farm to get outside and be kids and have such a large extended family that embraced them from the beginning. Unfortunately so many kids in foster care aren’t that lucky. A generous Santa, a very nicely decorated home and a some vacations are also nice perks but love, some structure and having your basic needs met is really what kids need to thrive. Saw recently that the large sibling group that were locked in their home and starved by their parents in California then ended up being abused in foster care. Sadly that isn’t uncommon in the foster care system which doesn’t have enough foster parents.

1. thank you for being so kind and sweet. it means a lot. 2. you're so right: many foster homes are in it for the wrong reasons, and the ones that get hurt the most are the children, who can't help that they're in the foster system. it's just a heartbreaking situation all around. the world needs more GOOD foster homes!!! xx

Do you guys remember life before the kids? You didn't have 9 months to prepare. You woke up one morning and you were dads, not to one infant but THREE kids who desperately needed you. Lucky kids and lucky dads.

We'll never know the home where those children came from, and we don't even need to, but it must have been pretty bad for them all to have been removed and to have failed to be reintegrated. What PJ and Thomas is huge, they have given them a wide, loving extended family, unconditional love, security, welfare, a love of animals and nature and kept them together. They have assured the future of these kids and whatever children they go on to have themselves. I personally can't ever thank them enough because what they and other adoptive parents do is rebuild our society bit by bit. By saving these children, they save the world for all of us. I would like to start by 2022 by saying these guys are my heroes.

Whilst I’m happily a city boy these days, seeing your farm (especially with such a beautiful blue sky) does make me yearn for my inner country boy to escape again. But farming in the UK is a very different animal these days - and not in a great way. Your kids will remember and cherish their farm experiences their whole lives. Have a fantastic and healthy 2022. Has Jet Black settled back into being a sheep not a house pet yet? The look on the boys’ faces when they saw the presents was priceless! You make everything look so effortless so one knows how much work it was! Your mums are both such beautiful women.

Nothing like families together for the holidays. I always loved and will remember my two kiddos waking up coming down the stairs too see what Santa had delivered and like your kiddos checking to see if Santa ate the cookies and milk plus if he took the carrots for the reindeer. What a heartwarming beautiful video. Y'all must have been especially nice all year as Santa was very good to y'all. Love that land and the pond and the animals. Especially liked the geese. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer (BUT😊) Yoshino trees are absolutely beautiful in the Spring. I planted seven in my yard and they were beautiful for years. However, after about ten years they contacted some disease and were not so beautiful. Did not leaf up very nice or bloom so much so had to cut them down. You could plant some Dogwoods instead. You can even go out and dig up wild ones which are hardy and move them. Kids might love that adventure.💖❤️💕
