Mentally broke down when I saw the play live, too many emotions to process in a nutshell.

Having only heard the radio version of this, this staging looks nothing like what I'd have imagined! Looks like quite a creative take on the idea, be very interesting to see how it works with the story.

I saw the original staging of this at the National in 2012 and loved it. Not sure I like this version but not seen it yet.

The acting in this is mesmerising! Paapa Essiedu and Michele Austin better get Olivier nods!!

What are the light fixtures used to light this especially the strap down lights ? I'd be thankful for an answer

not sure and couldn't work out what exactly this staging/lighting was supposed to do? Normally, the National Theatre things are pretty exciting though.

I agree. They seem really excited about lighting techniques that have been used for a while and they seem really weirdly excited about making a tennis court theater. Maybe the actual show compliments this stage design/lighting well, but I’m not sure

Thanks. We really needed a full video explaining to us how very simple, utterly unimaginative stage lighting works.
