I love the fact that Milan is back and did not need to sell itself to an oil rich regime to be competitive again or pull "levers" and spend CRAZY to be competitive. I lover EVERYTHING about this version of Milan, the style of play, the players, the coach and the management all are great

Hi Micah. Thank you soooo much for dropping a comment. Really appreciate it 🙏🙏 Yeah dude. It's been quite a journey for Milan. Things got MUUUCH worse, before it got better. I haven't been THIS excited, since the days of Carlo Ancelotti. It would be interesting where this Milan project goes, whether for the better, or worse. I hope Milan can carry this on.🙂🙂

We had it harder than most clubs of this stature, the financial mismanagement was so bad and then even after spending money it seems like every player still flops lol, i'm still confused why Piatek decided to stop playing after 6 months or Paqueta decided he doesnt have to change his playstyle till he got bloody sold and this is just two playeres. But i do maintain that two key moments has led to the downward spiral first the Muntari disallowed goal, i still firmly believe if it was allowed we'd have kept Juve from winning, they'd have lost their aura of invincibility and would've dropped far more points later. then next one is not getting rid of Pato and buying Tevez, this made 0 sense to not do I dunno who made this decision but it bit us back hard.
@FootballDrawn2 жыл бұрын
Hey dude...Thank you sooooo much for writing a comment on the video. Really enjoyed reading it 🙏🙏 Yeah dude...that Muntari goal still bleeds, and it would've won what was the 19th scudetto for us. That being said, I still think it would've only delayed the inevitable. Silvio (and his company Fininvest) really became disinterested in Milan, and at some point, we would've fallen into despair. It's a verrry interesting "what if" scenario, and I might actually make a video about these "what if" scenarios 😀

We simply did not have the competence to rebuild after losing the legends in 2011 and 2012. Of course the money became tight but it could've still be possible to act smart. Instead the mercato was done following agent's directions and without any technical project: big salaries on old free agents, no foresight whatsoever. The value of our roster in 2015 and 2016 must have been ridicolously low, probably lower than Udinese or Verona

Hi Manuel. Thank you sooo much for the comment on this video. Really appreciate it man 🙏🙏 Yeah indeed. I think once certain smart people left the club (i.e. Ariedo Braida), things started to fall apart. That 2014-15 season under Inzaghi remains one of the most mediocre squads that I've ever witnessed.

As a football fan, Its good to see Milan back to the shape & CL. But I have one point to say... I think the failures wasn't only because of the squad. As the year they finished 10th. They were behind Genoa, Torino, Fiorentina & Sampadoria!!!!! & I don't think they had better squad than Milan! They were lack of spirits & passions & Motivation... Beside Management issues, & wrong decisions with choosing wrong coaches... As I said am happy to see Milan back on track & I know how it feels when you hear CL anthem as a Arsenal Fan! Thanks to Legend Maldini who was the right person behind recent achievements... Thanks for the video & keep it up!

Hi Hari. Thank you, as always, for the comment. Really appreciate it, dude 🙏🙏 Yeah, honestly, I can only hope things go well for Milan's project. By the way, did you know how similar United and Milan's historical timeline are? Both had great 60's, winning the CL. Both went to decline throughout 70's and 80's. Both had dominating 90's and 2000's, before going to their "banter era" around 2013 onwards.

AC Milan's prime sadly will never be topped... Dida, Pirlo, Maldini, Kaka, Thiago Silva, Nesta, Seedorf, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho (even though the latter joined in 2009, after 'that night in Istanbul'). Really brings back the memories, as well as the low points of this illustrious club's existence. But at least now Milan have another Rossoneri Scudetto on their shirt this season (P.S Great video as per usual man, and also I would like to recommend doing a video about the rise, fall and eventual rise of Manchester City my beloved.)

Hahahahaa....I actually have an Inter banter-era episode, with Uncle Sharma as my guest. Who knows. Maybe you'll know how far you guys improved since then (even with current ownership issues), although I gotta say, the Milan banter era was far more embarrassing 😀😀 For what it's worth, I hope you guys finish top 4. We need strong representatives in Europe, and I'd take Inter over many others for CL spots, as long as its not over Milan 😀
@christiankabano85024 ай бұрын
Supporting Milan in that era was depressing. Top 4 in Serie A was like mission impossible between 2013-2020. Hopefully the foundation we have had with Pioli can help us be competitive in Serie A and at least reach far in UCL. The issue is that Redbird only want good profit, I still don't get why we are getting Fonseca when we could have gotten Conte who can really bring back that Winning mentality back to Milan.

Hey Christian...thank you soooo much for your comment. Really appreciate it. Yeah dude, times were really hard. I honestly thought we were far from another banter era, but firing Maldini and selling Tonali in few days really made me think that we're probably 2 wrong appointments away from another banter era. Hopefully I'm wrong, but lets see.
@hommofroggy57272 жыл бұрын
If you want to pin point a date for when the banter era genesis was, it has to be 2006 Calciopoli not 2012. In 2012 everything exloded, it didn't start there.
@FootballDrawn2 жыл бұрын
Hey dude. Thank you soooo much for writing a comment on this video. Really appreciate it, man🙏🙏 Yeah, I think this can definitely be traced to that summer when Calciopoli happened, and Shevchenko left

@@FootballDrawn Probably also because from 2006 next to no investment turned out good. Didn't regenerate our team during that period and the hit Italian football got from calciopoli and the redistribution of TV rights in 2006 had a massive impact. PS: keep out the good work, love your vids
