I recently started collaborating with somebody who lives oversea to help edit my videos. We upload all files to designated OneDrive folders and have Windows automatically download everything to our computer. So far we haven't run into major issues other than limiting cloud storage and not being able to work the same project simultaneously. We currently try ta have at least two projects running so nobody's stuck doing nothing. I still have a lot to learn so it's been helpful to see how you handle team editing videos!

any clue if this works with a cracked version of premiere? meaning do we need to be signed in to adobe too? and also if one person buys the subscrition, can 2 people sign in with that same account in 2 different computers at the same time and work on a team project or i has to have 2 different account paid subscriptions?

I recently had to do this with project where I about 7 video files. I made several subclips from each video and strung them out in the timeline. When I collected the projected, the project file was huge. It made each sublcip it's own video file. Is there a better way of doing that so my project folder isn't that big?

Is there a way to just copy all files/proxies and previews and project to a new HD and then link it all up there? I can’t seem to keep my render in the process and project manager is to messy as I already had a nice file structure

Can you export a copy in Project Manager,. but without including all the media. Our sequences have 100s of GB of media. My fellow editor already has the footage on their local drive. Can we just send the sequences and not the media?

This is my first time working on a shared project and I think the easiest way to do it would be to save the project file to your computer like he said, and then throw that into a shared google drive with whomever you are working with

Well the sad thing is this only works with simple projects... If I try this on my projects which usually include over 5000 camera files (with proxies)m complex timelines + other assets, then the project manager just goes mental. For example, I have around 1/3 of total footage separated for other editor in 3 timelines (selections), after exporting those 3 timelines from project manager i see that Premiere didn't not only collect files from those 3 sequences, but it took for example all proxy files that were in the project (even for files that were not in the timelines) with it, even after you specially tick the option to not take unused files. So yeah the biggest lie about Project manager is "Do not take unused files" option. This has been a common problem with premiere pro for atleast 3-4 years already, forums are full of complains and yet they don't fix it. Oh yeah, there are also "team projects" and shared timelines. I have yet not seen a single pro user using those things.
