How Web3 Will Change Music | Binance Blockchain Week | Paris 2022

As part of Binance Blockchain Week in Paris, we brought together three influential thinkers from the cutting edge of the music industry for a fireside chat to explore how Web3 will impact the music industry.
Web3 is the idea for a new iteration of the Internet, which incorporates concepts such as decentralization, blockchain technologies, and token-based economics.
The speakers for this session (‘Hitting The Right Web3 Note’) were:

This event took place on September 15, 2022, which was Day Two of Binance Blockchain Week in Paris. The focus of the day’s events was on how Web3 is creating new opportunities for art and culture.

I am still new in this field, but after studying Blockchain and Web3 for quite a short time, I think conceptually blockchain isn't something really new. Blockchain carries a concept similar to peer to peer which has long existed and is technically similar to a linked list. However, of course Blockchain and Web3 still have a number of differences, especially technically compared to previous technologies.
