How website development project cost estimation works

I've been working as a freelancer for more than 3 years. I work on Python. But I don't charge according to how many days I need to work, instead I charge according to the complexity of the functionality. I remember I charged $1,500 (around 1 lakh INR) to a client to write around 30 to 40 lines of python code. Because the functionality was quite complex. It took me just 3 days to make it. It's a mind game, you should make the client feel comfortable to work with you before you give him the quote. Then he will not deny for payment even if you charge a little higher. Focus on your communication, talk to him nicely, don't be rude to a client at all, even if he is rude then just try to calm the situation. Talk confidently, don't be desperate for work. Give him some free advice if necessary. Here's my tip: Rude clients often give you plenty money. They are rude because they have money. That's what we want. Think this way. Cheers!

In your big company example while calculating dev cut for company after P.M i think it shud be 24 lakh cuz if we go by previous P.M example - since 2 devs working for 3 months taking 80 k each than 80 k + 80 k = 1.6 lakh( 1 month) | 1.6 lakh * 3 = 4.8 lakh ( 3 months working salary) | 4.8 * 5 (company project factor ) = 24 lakh | . Kindly correct me if i am wrong :)
