I completely understand Kristen's questions about the game in the beginning. Typically, since there are written cards involved, they're supposed to reveal the cards at the same time. But because they're not doing that... it makes everything a little confusing. Dax even made the switch 3:45

I think what Kristen thought is that they had written answers for different questions (like they have on the newlywed game), so like Dax would answer aloud in the moment, then Kristen would show what she wrote to see if they match. Once all her questions were done, then they would switch people and Kristen would answer new questions in the moment, and Dax would show what he wrote.
