What a GREAT video Mike! I'm embarrassed to say that I have a 2008 Pontiac Vibe with 140k on it and it has never had the brake fluid changed. I think it is likely due for new brake pads and likely calipers (last done at about 60k), as well as new rubber hoses. The brakes seem to work fine, but now you've lit a fire under my butt to get the fluid changed along with all the rest!

@greggsvintageworkshop8974 Thanks Gregg! Yeah it's definitely something to keep in mind! Normal braking and usage you won't have any problems. But, say your driving downhill several miles and using the brakes alot, you may be in trouble. Cheap insurance for sure. Have a good weekend buddy!

Good informative vid. I was told, when I was young, brake fluid should be changed every 2 years on a daily driver. Do I do that? No. But I should. I do change the brake fluid occasionally on my motorcycle.
