The reason the phrase 'black lives matter ' is being used is because it has been 100's of years that this hasn't been the case. Of course all lives matter... but when someone says that often it feels like people are not really getting the point. We need to be open to the pain of others and try to understand their experiences. Only love can heal the anger and the the disillusionment . Like you said when you take the mask off we are all the same underneath and we have to work together for truth and justice.
