Ms. Puff was very put out by your orange kitty. She was telling you about her irritation. Watch her tail vigorously swishing back and forth as she was watching him goof in the background. She didn't take her eye off him until he left the vicinity..then she began to pester Mrs. H😂,.cats are awesome. Great teaching video. Much love 💖

We buy 18% protein chicken feed from Tractor supply and our hens have played all winter long. No problems with geed here in Kentucky! Dunmore by Purina, and I ferment it too. Hey, Mrs H, this video is so timely for me. I haven't been around much but over the next few days I'll be catching up. Right now I'm working on getting my homemade fertilizer out to my new garden area. Tomorrow I won't be outside at all. Yet another snowstorm and ice storm tomorrow and Thursday. Amen to that! I'm zone 6 in Kentucky. I want to dig in the dirt already too! Mr and Mrs H have taught us a lot of things. I didn't know you could do a 2nd harvest so I tried butternut squash last August. The weather got too cold for it to fully survive. So after everything else is done, I'll try again in July this year God willing! I broke my back on December 28th and had surgery so it's going to be harder on me to bend and do things, but we have to eat! God bless everyone! The news is horrible and now our water supplies will be contaminated. May the Lord protect and provide for us. 😇🙏❤

I have learned so much from you, I can't thank you enough! I live in GA as well and the ants were just awful last year. They got to my watermelon and I wanted to cry all that hard work gone to feed ants! I'm going to do like you and start my watermelons in containers. Let them grow a bit, get stronger. I also learned once melons start coming on, get those babies up off the ground! Put mine on top of mounds that were well mulched with pine straw. Then all around each mound and all around my melon I liberally sprinkled diatomaceous earth. That saved a few of my melons from the ants!

I watched and subbed during your chicken coop build, please do a video on how your chickens are doing. I live in northern Wisconsin and starting crops can be difficult as I've seen snow in May. My best fertilizer is using weeds I pull, stuff them in a five-gallon bucket, and fill them with water. Two weeks later mix with water and when you water your garden. Do not use tomato plants leaves and waiting a month is always better.

Lady, you are so right about checking your indoor plants every day. This afternoon my sage had come up and I was so happy. While you were talking, I remembered I needed to move the moringa I had just planted. When I looked, the dill was coming up!! I've got my kitchen sprouts, onions and red potatoes in the garden. I don't know if the onions will do anything, but it is better than throwing them out. Back when I was little Mama would get the small milk cartons from school and my parents would plant everything in them like your Dixie cups. Our local feed store has an ant dust that stinks to high heaven, but it works! I can't remember the name, but the smell is unmistakable. I'm gonna enjoy planting along with you this year. God bless.

Being fairly new to your channel, I don't know if you've answered these questions in other videos, but when you start your tomato seeds do you plant more than 1 in each Bolo cup? Also, I noticed that you have a dog. Does it keep predators out of your garden areas? I have a HUGE raccoon that just appeared this year. Along with opossums and skunks. What do you use/do to protect your corn and other veggies? Trapping is out. And I don't have a dog. Several stray cats have decided to stick around, so do have those.
