Really great video Dr. Lovejoy. I'm thinking about doing a research paper on AI and healthcare, specifically mental health. Do you think structuring my paper in the way you structured this video would be good? Like with these sections: diagnosis, monitoring, treatment, efficiency. Also, do you have any sources on the use of NLP and psychiatric EHR (electronic health records)? And any sources on the ethical dilemmas that could arise with AI? Hi! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Best of luck with the paper! Yes, I think the structure could work well, depending on what you are covering in the paper. I used it in a paper I published earlier this year: www.europsy-journal.com/article/S0924-9338(18)30162-7/fulltext Re: the NLP and EHR, there's been a quite a few studies looking specifically at suicide prediction, which are reviewed here: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30699872. I'm not aware of anyone specifically working on the summarisation tool that I made reference to in the video, but I believe that because psychiatry is particularly text-driven, it's an area with a lot of potential for NLP. Re: ethical dilemmas arising with AI, I'm not aware of any specific ones (I'm sure there will be some), but also many of the broad AI in healthcare editorials have sections discussing ethical aspects, such as www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30617339 and www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30943338 Hope that helps!
