DR Stanley took my life and gave me reason to once more have hope and see rays of sunshine where i could only see darkness. Our Saviour Christ Jesus speaks to us through him and without confusion and uncertainty. In these last days he has given so many of us a the promise of our coming certainty of eternity. I listen to him each day for the spiritual food i need so i will not listen to satan whispering in my ears of doom and despair. Satan will not prevail. God did move my heart to pray for someone for over two years. I prayed for them and fasted and acted but now, it seems like God has taken off the burden for me to pray for the person. However, nothing positive came from all the praying I did. And God had me believing that there would be a break-through...but there never was. Why was I deceived? Why would God move me to do this, lead me to believe in it, and them just drop the whole thing?

4 years late, but I struggle to hear/understand him. Often our own internal voice and thoughts inserted by you know who tell us what we want to hear instead of the truth. God's voice will always line up with scripture so reading/knowing the Bible will help us filter out the interference. You don't truly know if those prayers were for nothing.

I'm very sick for years. I was sinful. I was prideful, reckless, vigorous, diceitful, unsatisfying, walk to the world, unfaithful, unbiblical, really bad, disrespectful, impious, idolater, drunken even before go to church, audelterous and had no peace. Pray for me according to the Bible in a proper way. Also, confess your sin if you would. I'd like to pray for you too.

How does we know the words of God that he has answered our question

I believe God speaks to all of His children differently based on your relationship with Him and the situation. As you read the scriptures more and spend more time with God, you will learn what He sounds like when He speaks to you. Example, when a friend calls you that you speak to everyday... you know exactly who it is because you know them THAT well. And the there are friends you may have not spoken to in months or years, it will be more difficult to even recognize their voice. Also, When you make a new friend or start a new relationship, you get to know them by spending more time with them... Spend more time in prayer and meditation with the Lord to recognize His voice. Also, study the scriptures to know what God is really like... the things he loves and the things he hates. For more on God’s voice there is a part in the scriptures where Jesus talks about sheep. He said I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know me. The sheep recognize His voice... Please read it, the word is incredible. It is in the book of John Chapter 10. I hope it blesses you! Seek the Lord with all your heart and you will find Him.

In 35 yrs god has never, ever answered any of my prayers. Not even one. I would just as soon go out and pray to a fence post. The fence post has never disappointed me. God has disappointed me Every time I put my faith in him. Every Time. When I pray, god always makes it worse. Always.
