In last Pink test India had an upper hand in the game until Rahane ran out ominous looking Virat with his brain fade call. Then the freakish 36 all out happened and India could only put 93 to get when in fact it easily could have been around 200 and in that series Australia did not get to 200 until 3rd test match. So long story short as long as India atleast pick one swing bowler like Akash there will be a very good fight and with Pat Hazelwood out - I would wage India may have a good hand on this test.

Why pink ball is picked for day night test and why other colour ball is not used?

Because its visibility at night is better than red ball. And white ball does not last its color beyond 40-45 overs. so the compromise is to go with Pink ball which is better sighted at night time and keeps its lacquer better than the white ball.

My XI in the batting order for Adelaide: Rohit, Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Virat, Pant, Nitish, Jaddu, Sundar, Rana, Bumrah, and Siraj I will play this team in Adelaide for two reasons: 1. KLR has done exceptionally well against the quality bowling attack in Perth, his confidence at the top will be high. So no need to push him down the order to dent this confidence. He possesses much better technique than Gill as the latter recently got out on more than one occasion shouldering arms, which is not advisable against swinging Adelaide conditions under lights. Rahul should bat no later than nbr. 3 in Adelaide 2. In my opinion, it's unfair for Jurel to be dropped after just one opportunity. If need to be swapped I will do so with Jaddu only, not Gill or any others. Jaddu's record in Aus is really good as an all-rounder, so there is no reason why he can't come straight into the playing eleven. I know that a few eyebrows will be raised, including Jaddu at the expense of Gill. But my intuition says that Jaddu will bring that X factor to this game. Anyone with me, folks??

@@prashanth7097 Bro, I have seen them all. the ball will be swinging both ways viciously, only under lights. So, it's not advisable to go off guard without a spinner. Jaddu I consider him as a batting all-rounder.

Really think the only spot Rohit can take now is Jurel's ! That too because the poor lad didnt manage to get runs as expected but is a quality batsman ! For me, Rohit bats at 6 after Pant . Dont fuck up what KL and Yashasvi are doing at the top, Gill bats at 3 , so 6 it is ! Anyway, Rohit hasnt been batting well against seamers at the top so might as well play at 6.

Washington Sundar 8. N K Reddy 9. Harshit Rana 10. Mohammed Siraj 11. Jasprit Bumrah If conditions demand Harshit can make way for Jadeja . Rahul has batted down the order with reasonable success so he fits in there instead of number 3 position. What would be your choice of players , please let us know Regards

Why would you drop KL from 1 to 6 in a winning combination? I think Rohit should show some quality leadership and bat himself at 5 and Pant at 6. Rohit is close to the end of his test career and maybe batting at 5 could extend his remaining time and KL’s performance in first test should gain him the respect of his leadership to continue in the position.

Rohit had been Indian best test batsmen until 10 matches ago. Anyway you were the same guys who were telling the same thing before t20 wc, and he delivered the title , nearly won the world cup until KL and Kohli decided to go in their shell to score no boundaries for 97 deliveries
