It's been 4 years now and nobody has discussed the most important moment of the second game. When Ellie lets Abby live and as Abby is leaving Ellie says "Go... just take him" it was a double entendre. In the moment it is "just take Lev". But for Ellie it is "just take Joel". In that moment, the very first time I played it, I realized that Ellie ended the cycle of violence and also FINALLY forgave Joel. That was the moment Ellie forgave Joel. It explains everything about her motivations but nobody seems to notice.

@@FandomPending I felt it when I first played it. Just before Ellie stops drowning Abby it flashes to Joel. That was the connection of what was in Ellie's mind.

possibly the dumbest ending (featuring the dumbest and most unlikable new characters) in possibly the dumbest story. ever. great levels, great sound, great crafting, great combat, great graphics. absolutely *abysmal* writing.

This would be my structure with 3 seasons for part 2 Season 2: Jackson, golf game, Ellie's 3 days, Ellie's flashback, Issac backstory, confrontation at the Theater and the season would end with Abby's first flashback showing the viewer who Abby is. Season 3: Abby flashback, Abby's 3 days, more development to the seraphites (that was something cut from the video game), more development to Salt lake crew, maybe Yara and Lev backstory and would end with the fight against Ellie as you said. Season 4: Farm, maybe what happened after the theater (Ellie pov), what happened with Abby and Lev after the theater, maybe they can add the boar hunt, development of the Rattlers, development to the Firefies regrouping, santa barbara, and the epilogue.

I personally think the story would be better if they swapped between Abby and Ellie as you go along. One main issue I had was having the cliffhanger in the middle of the story, and I couldn't really invest myself into Abbys story because all I could think about was Tommy and Jesse and how Ellie was at gun point. I rushed through Abby's story because I wanted to get back to the cliffhanger. As for the fireflies, I thought it was odd that Owen was looking for them instead of looking for Ellie as she immune. The fireflies can't do anything without Ellie.

Every game today is called like that (Ghost of Yotei, GTA6 Intergalactic, Witcher 4, and guess what? They all have female protagonists. Maybe your problem is that).I'm 16 and you must surely be less with the things you say. My advice would be for you to play the games you like and ignore the things you don't.

I only care about seeing Lev get falcon punched onto a garage door. Lou2 just dropped the cordycep infection cure etc stuff and went the walking dead humans violent and are the real threat narrative. Regardless the first season didnt take the infection and cure seriously so season 2 will be just more of the same....
