Leverkusens last standings starting from 2005 were: 6,5,5,7,9,4,2,5,3,4,4,3,12,5,4,5,6,3,6 which is between 5 and 4 on average. This 17th place argument is a little incorrect in the long shot. They are one of the best "average" team in the Bundesliga. Of course, there is no trophy for that, but Leverkusen plays constantly very good seasons for decades now.

What works with Leverkusen does not necessarily have to work with Real Madrid. At Real, everything is bigger, more outsiders are trying to influence, the pressure to always have to be at the front and the pressure to have to pack their bags again after maybe a season because it was not enough for the hoped-for success

IMHO, to counter-counterattack, revert the back 3 to their role. But my twist is i put 1 BPD in central defender to help initiate build up, and 2 FB in either side (mind you that im using central defender instead L/RB pos) . The 2 pivot role is BBM and RP to allow them move freely in attack and defence (So yes, having CM with high stamina + pace is very much needed). For attacking player, im using purely wingers on either side + 1 SS. With 1 CF + AF/P for the forward to increase the scoring chances In this tactic, you still have numerical advantage in last third (Up to 7 players) and high chance of goal scored as the attacking player is in their natural role. Also, relatively good defenses (Up to 6 players,im including the GK).

Hey bro, if you are tied or behind against the opponent at halftime, what kind of tactical changes do you often make? Such as Team Mentality, Final Third, Passing Style...

I mostly dont try to change it too much. But If i have set the mentality to control then i switch it to attacking. And play with a higher defensive line and increase a bit of tempo. And i try to increase the morale of the players with a demanding team talk. It works for some instances for me, but its totally depend on how your teams chemistry to each other and how well they can fight back. So keep practicing, youll master it!
