I decided do show my pixel art workflow using forbidden Pixel Art Techniques. This was my first making an animation with this level of detail.

THANK YOU! bcuz of your videos, I made the switch from Aseprite to Krita for my pixel art. prior to my switch, I was using Krita for basically everything else, but i adopted parts of your workflow and parts of my Aseprite workflow and found something that works well enough for me to get the same quality in Krita but with better management than Aseprite

Could you do a tutorial where you take an AI generated painting and transform it to pixel art using HD index painting? I would be curious how that turned out.

Perhaps it's because you saw the process behind it. I gathered some feedback before "revealing" the process, and it was pretty positive. Maybe that's why the artists who use these techniques don't reveal it.

This is outdated information already with generative software that automates indexation like Pixelover - which also includes timelines and bone animation even. You should check it out.

Thanks for the recommendation! I wouldn't say "Outdated". Pixelover is a software that has these techniques in an "easy-to-use" package, which is great! But it is not an art-software per say (to create art "from scratch"), meaning, you have to use it alongside Krita, Blender, Photoshop, etc; There is nothing wrong with a workflow using multiple tools! The bone animation and the 3d rendering of Pixelover are indeed awesome! The ability to preview these effects/techniques WHILE drawing from scratch is a +1 for me. Also I find it easier to do final per-pixel adjustments when you are already using a full-fledged art software.
