You can still get all 24 even if you choose hunter or emissary. When it stops giving you the auto mission to talk to vlad you just have to fast travel to the Lodge and the mission will pop up, ive been doing this im currently on ng+7

Came here to say the same. I had one bugged NG+, which was because I did barret as the very last thing. I believe that one of the other temples (Eternal Blossom in my case) didn't pop up, instead I got Sigma. If I do barret first, I get all the temples, so maybe something gets messed up in the order if barrets temple somehow gets circled into the rotation? Just me guessing here, but I seem to get all temples, even if I choose 1 ally, as long as I do barret before doing the temples.

A bit late, but you can get all the powers from the short NG+ playthroughs, you just have to use the eye or the table in the lodge yourself instead of talking to Vlad. Like the longer version, you can only do it for artifacts you have. (This inlcudes Barret's Parallel Self Power.)

@@theouterspacecowboy There are multiple bugs that are preventing players from acquiring all powers during an NG+ playthrough, but barring any of these bugs happening, you can get all 24. One common bug prevents players from getting the Supernova power specifically. Another common one makes Vlad give you the location of a temple, only to have it be the location of some basic Mining Station or something, stopping you from acquiring that particular power and also preventing him from telling you the locations of all the remaining temples.

You can pick up Barrett as soon as you start NG+ by landing on Vectera and talk to him.

Leaving this here because it seems no one else has. Don’t do temples until you have all the artifacts. At that point, you’ll have loads of quantum essence. Use one, and spam GRAV Dash to each temple. You’ll get a free quantum essence after each temple from the guardian so you won’t run out. That’s by far the fastest way to get to the temples.

I Prefer to use up my stored amps, Saving the quantum essence to Use the time-Slowing power at the final temple, then use a sniper to one/two shot all of the enemies before they have even aimed their gun at you.. kinda cheezing it ngl

I'm confused. I'm doing my 1st ng+ which artifacts do you mean by "all" the 6-7 you collect on your own or all of them you get when the hunter/emissary gives you theirs

If you get Level 4 lasers, you can save tons of time if you just use the Cutter (no need to find weapons or ammo). The fire effect procs often and stacks on itself, staggering and melting anything.

After exiting unity. Tell Sarah that you are starborn, can get the artifact locations from vlad. Here, speed run getting all the artifacts. When given the option, side with the Emmisary, get to the point where you are facing the Hunter, and persuade him to give you the artifacts. The Emmisary will give you theirs without a fight. At this point, you will have access to all 23 temples needed to get the remaining powers (you automatically get Phase shift +1 when you grab the final artifact in the underground temple, after the hunter scene) Go to vlad in the lodge when necessary so he can give you coordinates to fast travel to the temple, get the power, rinse and repeat. Its annoying but whatever

The personal atmosphere power gives you unlimited o2 for the duration of the power btw. So if you're on a high gravity planet and need to sprint, cast that first and you'll massively extend how long you can sprint for.

Great video! I would also recommend leveling up the Gymnastics perk under the Physical category to level 2. It gives you better control in zero-g environments, which helps make the Temple puzzles less of a pain in the ass.

To get leveled weapons quicker in NG+, go to the Nova Galactic Staryards and run that dungeon. The enemies and weapons will be leveled to where you are at, and you should come out with a bunch of decent weapons. Just be sure to stock up on med packs first.

I just went to Akila and looted the gun store through the puddle and then speedrun'd all the artifacts and wet straight to the end fight. would take me like 25min from the time i landed on new atlantis till i got the last artifact. another tip is you can skip the vlad scene by just walking backwards into the rift again. and definitely try and persuade them at the end

Yeah you're better off leaving the temples until you complete revelation. Because you can just fast travel to the lodge , where as if you try do the temples before that , you have to fast travel to the eye , wait to be scanned, fly and Dock it , it's such a pain

It doesn't matter which end boss you chose, I picked both randomly and got all 24 each run (actually got 25. I got paralel self twice each run by doing barret quest after doing all the temples).

I hope that Bethesda add some variety to the temples and powers, because it gets very samey and boring, very quickly. To then be expected to do it over and over and over in NG+ is a little much for me.. which is why I’ll be stopping at NG+4 when I get there and focusing on other things in a persistent universe session that I don’t intend to ever actually leave.

To all the commenters below, I did original game and finishing 3rd NG right now and on first run I had 3 powers missing, on second I had like half of them, since then I think I have a few missing each time. I did all temples I could find from Vlad at the Eye, any other temple that just pops up (even the ones that were bugged and couldn't set destination to.. I went to the planets and didn't rely on the quest markers). After Vlad comes to the Lodge again did all temples until I got quests from him. When I didn't, he didn't even talk to me anymore. 3rd NG++ now, ready to finish, I have 4 undiscovered temples; 2 powers at II (Life force and Supernova if it matters); 7 powers at III; 14 powers at IV; the useless Parallel Self at VII, stupid Barrett. I always went out of my way to get all powers before finishing. About the advices, I listened 3 tiems and didn't understand, how will Sarah give me a weapon at the end of the game that helps me to start a new game. I just go to the basement of Lodge and get 1 or 2 advanced weapons from there and start with it, if you kill some pirates you are bound to find an Advanced 6.5mm weapon from one of the high level pirates.

A similar thing happened to me. I think it's because the Barrett quest always gives you the twin power. If you don't do his quest until the end, which I did on multiple playthroughs, I wound up getting his power twice. Some of my powers will just be behind others, which sucks but I've found the fix i think. Don't do any temples until you've done Barrett's quest. I also hard save before I accept a temple quest from Vlad in case the mission bugs out, which has happened to me before as well. Went to the market and it wasn't there, no static for 1km around, which also makes it so you can't accept any subsequent temples from Vlad. Hope this helps someone.

@@novoca1n3 where in the main quest are you? Are you in NG+ for my first playthrough I didn't get the quest until a lot later in the story. If you're in NG+ you should be able to get the quest after talking to him, becoming his friend again and then he'll give you the quest. The dialogue option will be marked (starborn).

Beowulf and Coachman for me....... equip coachmen (with hornets perk on it) and use Paralel Self power then go to your overpowered Beowulf sniper which can 1 shot most enemies easily

Inside the temples are five light bulbs that you have to fight through can be hit or miss. They disappear before you get there so sometimes it's harder than a butt.. so NG + fight through 2 and then get your powers.. when they stopped working for me I just let my character class to the floor and call it quits for a little while till they settle back and then do it again..

There’s no achievement for maxing out powers so don’t bother grinding 240 temples if you’re on PC. Just 100% the achievements then use console commands on the powers.

When you Ng+ run to the lodge, speak to Sarah, skip main quest, receive the cutter, max level the cutter, burn your way through the final mission. Rinse and repeat 😊

Bruh, my main hang up is the powers. Fine I have to get all the artifacts again and get geared up enough to take on Starborn but I only use 2 of the powers really anyway so I don't have any motivation to hit all those temples again lol. Bethesda really needs to either auto level them after you've hit the Unity or put a master temple in game that only shows up after you hit the Unity to level them all. I'm only on NG+3 so we'll see.

I sided with the hunter but then persuaded the emissary to walk away. Was at 14 temples before, 5 from the emissary as he leaves, then the hunter gives you the remaining 5.

Guys I did the whole grind. Every power at level 10. It’s painful. It’s annoying. And I will never do it again. But you a literally a GOD when you finish and it was worth it. I literally just run around killing high level enemies with my fist and using my powers. Everyone has their own method of getting there but it’s soooo worth it.

I'm 2 levels up in Parallel Self because of doing Barrett dead last. I would get the Parallel Self from a temple then again with Barrett. I'm down 2 levels of Supernova instead. I started doing Barrett 1st and now I get them all.

I'm on my NG+3 and trying to figure out why I would keep doing NG runs besides getting a ship, spacesuit and powers. The ship and space suit are not end game suits, you get much better ones and then can add mods onto them especially the ship, the starborn ship is cool and all but. if your going to play the game and do quests then this ship is horrible as far as functionality. the poweres are meh IMO. There's a few decent ones but I hardly used them on my original play thru and now NG+ and im going to play the game start to finish I doubt I would use them any more now then I did my first play thru and you wreck everything with weapons on hard difficulty, poweres are just an after thought.

I’ll give you guys a bone. Wait until you’ve completed the last of the mission that gets you the phased time ability on new game + that way vladmir stays at the lodge and can get temples by just going to the lodge rather than loading in to space, flying to the eye and boarding. Saves alot of time and also if you kill both the emissary and hunter like I do everytime (I’m on new game + 14) and grab the artifacts you wanna find first it’ll give you the temples in the order you grabbed the artifacts off the bodies of the hunter and emissary. Also, if you travel to a couple close solar system near cheyanna, alpha Centaury and any other major settlement, if there’s an artifact in that system it’ll automatically give you that mission without going to vlad and it’s a separate stand alone mission. Makes it easy to cancel out temples you don’t wanna go to if your keeping track correctly. That’s how I got grav dash rank 10. Didn’t care about the other one really.

There is no reason to max the powers because the best powers are already good at lvl 1: atmosphere, solar flare, moon form ( and void if you are a sneaker) all these dont benefit so much from upgrades that it will actually matter (and moon form actually even gets worse after tier 5)

I was able to talk with Barrett before Masada and get his power quest again in two runs so far so I have two powers at four and the rest at three. I dunno if others can replicate this or if my character is bugged because this didn’t happen on a previous character

People will whine about anything. NG+ is usually just the exact same game except you keep your progression and start completely over again being completely overpowered. Starfield's ng+ at least throws some variety in there even if it is pretty weak and shallow, at least it is not the exact same thing in god mode.

I hate that Vlad typically only gives you one at a time and every single time you have to fly back to the Eye or Lodge to speak with him directly to get another one. It's made incredibly tedious for absolutely no reason. The mini-game you have to play to get the power is also unnecessary. I wish it recognized you as a Starborn and just gave it to you. We have to do this 240+ times already so stop making it take longer than it already is.

This honestly wasn't a very helpful video. There are much better tips out there, some of which I've seen mentioned in the comments. First, you don't have to fight both the hunter and the emissary to get all 24 powers on the first playthough. What you actually have to do is exhaust your options with Barrett, as he is the only one that can give you the temple that provides Parallel self. Just finish the artifacts work, but don't go into the unity. Go back to Vlad, go through some dialogue, end the conversation, then start another right away and he will provide more locations. Second - Use the Personal Atmosphere power to avoid running out of O2. No need for meds as mentioned in the vid, although AMP helps speed things up. Third - finish all of the artifacts first. If you do this, you will meet Vlad at the lodge to get new locations instead of the eye, greatly speeding things up. This also has the added benefit that some of the systems you visit for artifacts will also have temples, and a mission will pop up to get it. This allows you to travel to the system once and pull an artifact and a power. Fourth - Don't waste time scanning or building outposts. You lose it all anyway, even planets you've scanned, so there is no point.

I really enjoyed the game untill I found out theres a new game plus to get the best gear, instead of putting the best gear far out in the maps. This "grind" is just a boring repeat that will give you god mode, after new game+10 you will be sick of the game already.
