I'm bassist for a long time, I know most of my stuff. Nagsimula akong mag-gitara nitong mga nakaraang buwan. Hindi ako makapaniwala na may Filipino guitar content creator na kayang tumapat sa mga international channel na sigurado naman akong pinapanood natin dito. Keep it up! Isa pang tip ko sa pedalboard piliin 'yung may hiwalay na output jacks. Para 'yung hugot at saksak ng kable dun sa jack ng board ang gamit, nandun ang stress. Mas mura at mas madali palitan. Tapos 'yung jacks ng pedal at power cable ng supply, dun naka-connect sa board. Custom 'yung pedalboard ko kaya may ganito. Hindi madaling masira ang pedals pag ganito.

Ask ko na lang din siguro if anong comment mo, regarding sa "clean channel", gusto ko sanang gamitin yun Digitech RP55 blackface preset para sa clean tone, so basically siya yung sa unahan before overdrive and crunch, ideal ba yung kunin ko sa multi-effects yung clean? btw, GC Rockboard yung pedalboard ko (after 2 months of waiting dumating din!)

You can also use 2 boost pedals,one before the main drive one after the main drive for volume boost for guitar solos,phasers love it before the distortion and after,phaser before drives can give you the van halen sound

Hi. I just rewatched this vid for the nth time because i love the content/topic. However, today's rewatch has a totally purpose-driven (overdriven?. . .oops, Pun) reason. You see, I recently purchased a Cube Baby (black, Cuvave brand, V2, for those asking, if any.) and was wondering where to put it in the mix of things on the pedal board. But, instead of an idea, I was, well, educated. Apparently, the Cube (baby) IS a pedal board at its absolute basic. It has tuner, modulation, and gain (overdrive, or up to high, as it has a distortion on one of its amp sims). The device also has reverb, chorus, phaser, and delay, of which, were tackled and very-well explained in this video. So, for a newbie like myself, I will not worry about a pedal board yet. I'll just enjoy my Cube Baby for now. I will, however, watch this video again if I finally decide to fiddle around with boards, velcros, and PAX, err, patch cables, and build myself a pedal board. . .😁

Napakaganda ng pagka explain! Matanda na ako, pero mas naliwanagan ako ngayon pa lang. Haha! Naalala ko nung teenager pa ako diyan sa Pilipinas in the 80s, di ako maka afford ng pedal. So, ang kinuha ko lang ay distortion and flanger. Yun lang, gig na! Pero layer on, gusto ko pa ng another pedal and anothed, pero wala akong budget. So, nag multi-effects ako. Zoom ang uso nun sa mga naka budget. Anyway, maraming salamat sa explain! Mabuhay ang mga Pilipinong musikero!

Very informative sa beginners since surface and essential ideas lang na need ang inexplain. But in depth concepts and in terms of engineering and mixing, it's true na sa frequency spectrum ay nasa mids/middle ang core ng guitar sound and yung sequence ng effects ay nagma-matter talaga since magiging "muddy" ang sound mo kapag hindi tama ang sequencing ng effects (try niyo delay muna bago dist/overdrive and u'll hear a muddy echo and bounces from your delay pedal na sinundan ng dist/overdrive but it can still work sometimes but not often). So sa lahat ng sinabi ni idol Pax, agree ako and well informed siya sa information na tinuturo niya.

Nice video. Makakatulong to sa mga gitaristang intermediate to advance na gusto ng magpaganda ng Tunog. Pero to add lang meron pang ibang Pedals na useful para sa ibang gitarista. Ang tinutukoy ko ay Looper (Importante sa practice session), Noise Gate (Para sa mga naka single coils at may OCD sa noises), at EQ para sa mga mahihilig at gusto pang mag timpla (Pero di ko na to isasama kasi di ako gumagamit at di naman sya essential). Saan nga ba dapat ilagay ang Looper at Noise Gate? Simplehan ko na... Una, Mas okay ilagay ang Looper sa end ng chain mo after ng Time & Space Pedals. Di ko alam ang explanation bakit hinuhuli nila to, pero yan na ang ginawa ko. Para daw complete lahat ng pedals mo sa loop/record mo. Pangalawa, Mas okay daw ilagay ang noise gate pagtapos ng Drive Pedals mo. Since mas noisy ang distortion kaysa sa boost/overdive mas ayos syang ilagay after the Distortion. Looper = at the end of the chain. Noise Gate = after the drives/loudest drive. Idea = Wah/Whammy>Tuner>Comp>Drive>Distortion>Noise Gate>Modulations>Delay>Reverb>Looper. Any thoughts or response??? Lately lang din kasi ako nag build ng pedalboard since back then Multi effects lang gamit ko. Tas nakaka confuse ung Chains, di naman mahirap pero need pag aralan at experimentuhan. Recently lang ako nahook sa Looper at Noise Gate kaya na confuse ako kung san ko sila ilalagay, Pero after malaman nung mga sinulat ko nag fit at naging panalo na sila sa setup ko. Next kong need alamin is Saan ba dapat ilagay si EQ at Volume Pedal, pero di na siguro since di ko sila trip. PS: Pede din ilagay ang Tuner sa Una or Huli ng Chain. May mga nakikita ako na naglalagay ng Tuners sa huli, pero situational daw. Pero in General Tuner goes first/before the drive.

Yung mga international rockstars naka-rack na yung mga effects tas sa pedalboard effects programmer nalang ang mamanipulahin nila. Also may isa pang gain na tinatawag na Fuzz which is parang pinagsamang Distortion at Synthesizer. Also sa modulation madaming nalilito sa Phaser at Flanger. Ang Phaser Chorus pero tunog pusa, ang Flanger tunog eroplano.

I just finished watching all of your videos. Ang galing. Yung quality ng videos mo is on par with top youtubers in the music field. Si sir perf lang naiisip ko na ganito ang video quality sa mga pinoy youtubers. The amount of research and small details you show in your content is what really separates you from regular content. I always enjoy watching the famous youtubers for guitar gear reviews or whatever pero iba pa din kapag tagalog ang nagpaliwanag eh. These are the kinds of videos musicians need to watch. Yung ibang videos kasi, "tutorial" daw pero sadly, ending is "yabangan" moments lang ang nangyayari. Great work sir.
