I like how you encourage participation from the audience by asking them to repeat words you just said. That helps people like me, with short attention spans, to stay engaged.

This subtle shift is simple but powerful. I still see it as a list, but I like how it is reframed. I just started on this yesterday, not 100% successful, granted, but can see that it helped to sharpen my focus. The takeaway that I got from this is that the list now shifts from execution-based to results-based.

I used to have those lists of things to do & crossed out "done ones" but I did not feel so good when I still have lots of stuff "undone" so I cut some of those activities & events that I feel won't need solutions. We always become wiser thru experience.

HI Dan. I also speak to myself, usually during the thinking process, to organize ideas. I have a thinking second process, a strange one, sometimes when I have a complex problem, I lay down in my bed, close my eyes and just think.It works perfectly for me, because I turn off all my senses and relax (shutdown the multi-task system). This way I can find solutions very fast! :)

Dan, I absolutely have been blown away by your book and your video content. I have 1 thing I would really like to hopefully see a video on which is scheduling or structuring your day starting at the beginner level in online entrepreneurship when your trying to get going online with ecommerce when your first developing your store or affiliate marketing biz etcetera... what would YOUR schedule look like when your beginning a new business and haven't seen any success yet.

Dan lock my question is: if we are surrounded by people smatter than us , they can play with us or use us because they'ee smatter and they also have more experience .How do we defend our selfs from those people if we also have to work with them ? .

Once you're done with the tasks you planned to complete that day, STOP. OMG I probably need to write that every day until that's burned in my subconscious - this seems crucial for success at a large scale, especially because you need to see the big picture very clearly before making any major moves (much like a Chess/Go game). Thanks for the crucial insight here, Sifu.

well you have to be conscious of what you're thinking about. If you're thinking about the right stuff, like education/work, then you're thinking about what to do next. For example if you're thinking about your work, what's going right or wrong, then maybe you're starting to come up with new ideas. Brainstorming. And then when you finish, you can take action: go out and try the new ideas. If you're thinking about things where you cant take action, then maybe you're just wandering around and/or overthinking stuff, and maybe you need to pauze or stop thinking and go do something (new).

I liked some of your ideas, such as thinking. But you might check your arguments: 1) You say you get great ideas when you are driving or taking a shower not when you think; so why do you purposely think for 1 hour? 2) You say you get the best ideas when you are relaxed; then you say you need to feel uncomfortable to have good ideas. What is more important?
@yardmasterswealtheducation8424

Thinking on purpose in such a regimented way is mental exercise. Great ideas come when we are in the shower or driving because we are mentally fit. I think this addresses number 1. Number 2 might be a "necessity is the mother of invention" kind of thing (vis. we only act when life forces action) mixed with an understanding that times of stress release Cortisol which blocks creativity. So, tough times motivate moving in the direction of wealth building, but you must calm down (let the Cortisol drain from your system) for your mind to work properly. Hope that helps!
