I live on 92st in Howard beach and got about 8 1/2 feet in my house 8 feet in my basement and 1/2 foot on my first floor! Got slammed and everyone in Howard beach did! I lost everything but thank god that I still hav my family! # scariestnightofmylife

I've lived in the area over 49 years and Sandy was the worst storm I ever saw. Howard Beach got pommeled.

Oh My God, I live nearby by Ozone Park by the Conduit and I am speechless... I cannot believe that it was that bad so close to home. My prayers go out to all those affected by this Horrible storm :-(
