Mr. Hazelcorn passed away September 09, 2020 in Sarasota, FL. His collection is widely regarded as one of the finest in the world focusing on the very early Edison, Victor, and Columbia machines and records. Not surprising the auction house sells turn of the century phonographs accompanied by 1920s music. Is it out of context? The 20's song "Ain't We Got Fun" lyrics include "the rich get rich and poor get poorer". As a poor person, the estate must have been pretty rich to amass such a collection.
