My husband & I went to Howard's for our anniversary dinner two weeks ago. We got the steak for two deal. So delicious. Hands down one of the best steaks I have had ever. Funny enough, we sat at the exact same table 😂. Excellent food, wonderful staff & fantastic atmosphere. I opted to try one of their local IPA beers & it was very good. My husband & I miss Gatlinburg & we're already planning our return bc there was so much we didn't get to experience during our stay.

As you know, I worked at Howard's for 22 yrs...The burgers are made from the steak trimmings...the onion rings are like a blooming onion type...Glad you liked it ..Next Time, sit on the patio 😜

I worked at Hobies next door in the late fifties. My sister worked at Howard’s. What fun we teenagers had then. We came in from all the small towns and worked for the summer.

It all looked good. In most of our visits i'm usually going with ribs or the pulled pork. I can only recall one place where i found the ribs not to my taste, but i've noticed that a lot of the places do the pulled pork in various ways(although i know rib places do as well) and i've had some where there wasn't enough sauce to help it, and, thankfully, most very nicely done. We also like to try different things, like, having catfish for the first time or meatloaf(which i've never ordered ever at a restaurant, my first time was in Cherokee. We enjoy trying places we've never tried and thanks to you, sigh, we have a lot more to visit, lol. Thanks family!!

While we love Cherokee Grill's steaks, if we want a burger, Howard's is the best choice for us. Amazing! Favorite burger in town. Unless I missed it I didn't hear what you thought of the Teriyaki Vegetables. I loved them too! Great side item. Thumbs up all around!

Random question what program do you use for the cut out images ? I found a easy one to use, but the hd images aren’t free. With so many restaurants in the area is hard to go to one I, it use to that y’all rate I’m the 7/8 range. Epically since it’s in Gatlinburg where I’m not typically at for dinner/

Looks good. I always wanted to eat there but it always seemed like one of the pricier places. Maybe we'll try it. My hubs loves a really good steak. When y'all are in Myrtle Beach again, try Chuck's Steak House. Ate there last week and it was excellent.

We might have to go back to Howard's someday. Hubby and I have been traveling to Gatlinburg for 30 years and the worst meal we ever had in a "steakhouse" was at Howard's and the management didn't even care. Maybe time to try it again. I ate there in mid July and we got to eat outside which we loved, but the food was just mediocre and the waitress we had was busy doing something else and we never got refills and it took forever to get out check , we go to Texas Roadhouse which we can eat 3 people for $40 and we love their steaks . That was choice filet and not prime and they're charging 40 for the small one? I'd def go for the burger! I usually get that at the Chop House and it's so good. I went to order Doordash tonight and the prices have gone up so much that I refuse to pay it. I think we're coming in to a tough time. Not so much that I can't pay it, but I won't. Ya know? The one thing I love about the colder months is that I do cook more. Hate heating up the kitchen in the summer. Great video!!

They did have a smaller cut of the filet than the one we ordered. Prices are increasing across the board so it dyed make it hard to make dining choices on the high end of the price range. Even grocery prices are through the roof. Thanks as always Dee.
