It sounds like the boats in America didn’t last as long as the ones we have here in Australia, we have one boat that was built in 1866 and it still running to this day

Thanks for sharing the video!! I was wondering if you had any photos of the LOUISIANA whenever she underwent a conversion from steam boat to diesel

There were actually 3 JM White steamboats. The JM White lll is the one illustrated.

"Watch-a-kee-ta"? "Cape Jeer-arr-doo"?? Also, it's WM. GARIG (abbreviation for William), not W. M. I'd be happy to provide voiceover (and original music) for any videos in the future! :)

Have you considered doing a video on fort Benton Montana the inner most port in the world. I had to type this four times because of the auto spelling. I hate hate hate hate it. Its fascinating when you consider that this was during jesse James time.

@johnwright291 Did you know that you can toggle spell check on/off in the settings of most phones? Just a pro tip.

Thank you for posting these valuable photos of historic steamboats! But please, for the love of God, would you use some real ragtime music, not this repetitive pastiche with no musical value whatsoever? I'm sorry to be so harsh, but after about the 7th repeat, I wanted to throw my computer up against a wall.

Does anybody publish new rags these days? I've written a few (not that they're any good), but I wouldn't know how to get them out into the world.
