For me, the Artie/ETM era is the greatest. If you don't like Artie, there's something wrong with you.

If you pay attention the Stuttering DRUNK saw AJ Benza as COMPETITION for the so called "JACKIE CHAIR" ..& I believe he was DELIBERATELY trying to get Benza BANNED from the Howard Stern Show

AJ is a total scumbag. Artie told him he was clean, ...and then AJ admits he was shocked when Artie asked him to score for him, ...BUT DID ANYWAY, and then speaks like he is detached from Arties "whole life going down the tubes, starting the next day."

No. Jackie era was groundbreaking. Especially with Billie. Artie era was Stern and Robin talking about all the $$, cars and restaurants. It was like listening to your parents.

Jackie's era was a trailblazing era that structured the format of the entire show, even for Arties era. Plus, Howard was fighting the FCC during Jackie's era and during Artie's era it's more like he's fighting his own team.

Artie era was the best. Now all Howard does is talk about his vanilla relationship with Beth. I’m not hating on Beth but she does bring the show to a sudden stop when she gets on air with Howard.

Artie would have found the dope anyways, AJ shouldn't have got him the stuff but he admitted he was an drug user at the time also, the world is not all about Artie and his addiction, in the real world other people have issues with drugs also and they make mistakes too. And the key word is Artie "said" he was sober, Artie "said" he was sober for decades so let's be real he wasn't sober.

Artie got fired because the Howard stern show became the Artir Lange show and Howard felt threatened by him and used Arties drug problems as an excuse to get rid of him

@loudorchen9897

No, Artie was coming in literally drunk and out of his mind on drugs basically abusing his relationship with Howard because Howards doesn't like conflict like that, I don't think it had it had much to do with jealousy, yes Howard was jealous of Artie for being more beloved by the fans but Howard knew he was good for the show, he only let Artie go because he basically had no choice, the blame is on Artie, Artie wanted to get fired at the time but he didn't know how much he needed the show until he got fired.

I was listening to a podcast called "tell em steve dave " about 10 years ago . The host bryan Johnson was talking about Artie's book and how good it was. That was my introduction to the stern world . Artie. I had heard sterns name here in Ireland through American movies but never heard his show. Its basically all the compilations of old stuff on KZbin and this guy i watch . Its shameful Howard got away with not paying people for so long . He failed to see it took everyone to make the show . Really really sad to be that greedy at the expense of staff who couldn't afford to pay rent or get a haircut. 👊💯

@@LoneWolf-io2cz Wow. You are really being a nitpicker. Because he might not fit the federal definition of an employee you accuse the person who posted the video of using a clickbait title and losing all credibility. He was given money in exchange for his services for a period of time and he has some insight into what happened on the show. Just enjoy the video.

all these comparisons yeah Jokie wrote lil one liners Artie actually talked and joked and was often the FOCUS of the show while Jokie did his weak Henny Youngman thing. AJ’s a sap anyone that gets drawn into s-s-stuttering *choke• John’s BS is weak.

Jackie years were more lighthearted. Artie's nodding, interrupting with mumbling, calls from rehab, long long boring stories about relapsing and being sorry..... etc... Artie was good from '02-'07 then his addiction became a boring sad focus of the show.
