That just brought a rush of longing for the Essequibo. I lived there 9 years and I simply loved every aspect of the Essequibo Coast: the people, the food, the clean, quiet villages, the Baptist churches in Good Hope and Advanture... I fully believe the Essequibo Coast is the prettiest part of Guyana. Miss it soooooo much and this view...😍😍😍😍

My mother's family came to Guyana from Madeira and settled in Anna Regina. As a child I listened to stories of life there for them. Henrietta was also mentioned. When I visit Guyana again I will try to visit there
