Guy here and have been hitting stiff shafted drivers for years. I'm average length, 230-245. My daughter got a new callaway "women's driver" and we were at the range. She let me hit it and it was the best driver I've ever hit. totally straight with very little dispersion. And a little longer. It was much lighter than me driver. Just thought this might be of some help. Fred Couples used a woman's driver for years.

Thank you for such useful tip to add distance on the driver. Cheers from Indonesia.

For seniors: train at the gym with explosive moves. You need to train your brain to speed up sending the signal to the muscles.

you get your club parallel at the top of your backswing..... love seeing that. could you tell us what your average driving distance is? It would be a nice goal for us to strive for.

Love the having of the club in your set up. Do you do with all clubs as when tension creeps in for me i tend to push club down and then it gets stuck

Hi Sophie, great video as always. If trying to get more range and speed in the backswing how do I keep my trail elbow pointing down to the ground and tucked in? Is it okay for the elbow to come away from the body a bit more?
@Golfing-AddiCt2 ай бұрын
Go and watch some of the long drive guys, everything is loose and unrestricted, let it all fly..!!! But in normal practice work hard on keeping that elbow tucked, I've found putting an old glove under the armpit is a great drill, start with little half speed half swings, then gradually lengthen the swing at half speed, but focus on keeping that glove held under the armpit. Good luck with that.
