I think the reason why the walkers always just seem to sneak up on the characters is literally because they are slowly going deaf. The fact that they shoot guns without ear protection 24/7 is literally destroying their hearing. Rick shoots a Colt Python, chambered in .357 magnum, and shoots all six rounds in succession. He should not be able to even hear anything.

Realistically, perhaps. Then again I’ve never been around gunfire so I wouldn’t know. There’s been plenty of times in the show when you should’ve heard a walker nearby. Ed’s death in S1, Glenn finding the walkers in the barn only after he’s inside, and Maggie getting her arm caught by a walker in the pharmacy. I would imagine walkers aren’t always snarling every second of every day, but I’m sure there’s the counter argument too

The Walking Dead holds a special place in my heart. For many years, the fall meant a new season would begin airing, and rewatching the first 3 seasons makes super nostalgic. My fiancé and I visited Senoia, Georgia this summer to take a tour of the filming locations and it was incredible to see. It may have been inconsistent and unbearably boring at times, but it’s my favourite TV series of all time.

Lizzie is absolutely incredible. Finding a child actor who can portray that range of extreme emotion in a convincing way - and to do so while depicting an autistic character is a very rare thing. Just compare her acting to Carl's and it's night & day. I don't think they could have telegraphed her condition more without turning her into a caricature. I get why some viewers found it confusing, but I think the show absolutely nailed it. "Look at the flowers" is also such a good nod to John Steinbeck's 'Of Mice & Men' which concludes in a similar way. Lenny, an almost certainly autistic character, accidentally but well-intentionedly kills a person, and his brother has to shoot him to prevent the two of them from being lynched for it. The brother famously keeps Lenny calm by asking him to "tell me about the rabbits" while holding a gun to the back of his head.

I would really love to see this show directed by Frank Darabont from beginning to end. I really liked season one. It got me hooked. I felt like it was going down hill from there and I ended up quitting at the prison part, right after it was overrun with zombines and everyone started running away and getting split up. There was a scene where some characters drop a bag or something. But oh no! theres a small group of zombies walking after them very slowly. We better stand and fight these zombies to protect our.... dropped luggage. We couldn't possibly walk in a wide circle and pick it up! They were both killed. I quit right there and then.

Man, I loved this recap series so much, can't even really explain it (I'll still try). Your splitting and the choosing of scenes is so perfect it wraps up every episode without leaving out anything crusial or keeping things in that no one cares about, pointing things that don't make sense what I've also tought about + more things that I didn't even know to think about. Your humor is so spot on, also love your voice and memes you tend to snuggle in. Ur recap also helped me get closer with the series what was once my favourite but forgotten among the years.This is and will be my favourite recap series of all time, just wanted to thank you for all your hard work. (sry for bad grammar!(ps.loved that you used a song from Sly1 soundtrack in there :D))

I don't think up realise how incredibly valuable this was. I fell off just at the intro of Negan and didn't have the endurance to finish the run. This was so valuable to give me closure.

just watched it for the first time. Cause I was like 9 or ten when it came out and never bothered but then finally made the decision to this past summer. Might be recency bias but damn such an emotional and having me shaking in my seat type of show. Probably one of the best shows I've ever watched. Yeah I see why the later seasons declined but they still had something to them and for a first time watch it was still so crazy to watch unfold. I wish I was around during each week release back when the world used to do that but I'm glad I got to binge a few episodes each night. And now I guess I'm lucky as I have the spinoffs and the Michonne and Rick show now. Great video man can't imagine how long this took to make jeesh!

I know you made a video on whether you would cover the spin-offs or not. I personally think it'd be awesome in a year or two when the spin offs have run their course that you tackle all of them like you did with the walking dead! Fear might kill you though it really really falls off
