Awesome camera work on this one Ryan! Really great job of covering harvesting corn from many different elements of the operation! That hired helper looks familiar to me but I can't remember where I seen him at before! Oh well that's for the rest of the story later on! Thanks for taking me along !

@Sebastian Erler name of the channel is"The Rest of the Story" he and Ryan do a good job of not trying to be the same channel while still covering the same topics. Quite enjoyable to see the contrast and because of the different editing and recording styles they blend well together. Travis gives usually daily updates and Ryan does a very well put together showcase of the farming operation. Really want to meet both of them someday but alas, not within my budget at the moment lol.

Great shots... for your "in row" shots like at 10:45, you can dig a quick little "pit" with a garden spade to recess your camera down into the soil a bit so the head will ride right over it... just taper a little "ramp" down into it in the direction you're filming so the soil doesn't block the camera's view... Love "worm's eye" views LOL:) I've done it before with the bean head and it works well. Later and KUTGW! OL J R :)

Thanks for sharing your harvest! It is a busy season in itself, much less the work you do putting videos out. Very interesting to see historic use of the land and how it carries over into the present. With the two newer bins having different equipment, will you be transferring drier/known moisture corn between bins to manage moisture? I think you've made mention of this in previous videos.. curious your options with consideration to harvest conditions and equipment at hand.

I mentioned it in one of Travis’s videos but have y’all looked into getting a bar from jd that runs from one side of the 8r cab to the other in the holes where the bar is now? We run them in our 8r and love it. Can be used to mount any type of screen or whatever will fit and is kinda cheap I think like around 200 dollars

Hey Ryan. I am sitting here in Polson Montana. The guy across the road has between 200/300 acres of corn still standing. Stalks are still green. A slight dusting of snow on the Mission Mountains, which are right up against us. How long can he wait to harvest?
