How to Use DALL.E 3 - Top Tips for Best Results

DALLE.3 is finally rolling out to more ChatGPT plus users and there is also an option to get it for free if you don’t have ChatGPT plus that works just as well.
With DALL.E 3, you can generate images from a text prompt, right inside ChatGPT. But what makes this different than other image generation tools is that you don’t have to come up with the perfect prompt.
You can simply type in what you want and ChatGPT will turn that into the prompt for you.
You can also go back and forth with ChatGPT to refine the image and you can even add text.
So let me show you how to activate it and the free option for Dall.E 3 if you don’t have it yet inside ChatGPT.
If you have ChatGPT plus, you should see Dall.E 3 in the GPT-4 dropdown. If you don’t see it, it still hasn’t rolled out to your account. But you can use it inside of Bing.
If you go to Bing, you don’t have to turn anything on. Just ask for an image, and bing will use Dall.E 3 to create it for you.
I’ll show you 3 examples inside of ChatGPT.
And the limit as of right now is the same limit that GPT-4 has which is 50 messages per 3 hours.
With ChatGPT, you can get 3 different resolutions. You can ask ChatGPT for the size if you like.
If you want to keep the image generation consistent from one image to the next, start by saying use the same seed as the previous image and then add your revised prompt.

I'm getting pretty frustrated. I have signed up to the Plus package and nowhere on the UI is there a DALL-E 3 button to click on. It's meant to be part of the package but it's saying some crap like it might be regional access rights

Just ask ChatGPT to create a picture of a dog and see if it does it or gives you an error. It is no longer part of UI. It’s just there by default. You can also try Microsoft copilot. That also has dalle 3 for free

bing image generation could have been better with capabilities like 1. adjusting aspect ratio/horizontal pic, resolution etc., 2. text editing feature as the text is not accurate most of the times,. 3. image editing feature, incase the user wants to take away any unwated object(s) with the image generated.

We should also talk about the limitations of these AI creators. Dalle and including all those AI image creators only make an image form a description. Which might be 10 percent of what you want. DALLE and all these creators never gave me the image that I wanted. Also, it can't make you a copy or a bit different image from what you provided. So I think it's just a waste of time. I am a scientist, always making images for my articles, and Dalle always fails. So please make a video on the limitations of the dalle as well. Tell people not to waste time if they need an image like what I wanted.

Answer yes for GPT plus but. for Dalle 3 it has a hair trigger and over reacts on content issues mid generation ... but at the same time I was struggling to make a female Satyr ... and it gave me boobies twice when I wasn't asking for such things. I just said she her upper body was a beautiful female body because I was trying to keep it from making her face too goat like. But that was in bing. GPT is easy to trick otherwise. if you go slow with multiple prompts or convoluted prompts poorly worded intentionally.

This is extremely restricted and offer very little variation between images aside from edeting your prompt in different ways. If you tell it to use the same prompt for all images you get variations of the same image. Midjourney is sooo much better!
