Table saws are awesome, but jigs are a must. A cross cut sled and straight line/taper jig are my favorites. Nice work Travis. 👍

Was that a mini-kickback at 7:57 or did the piece lift up due to your hand shifting place?

Good eye. It wasn't really kick back. I just wasn't being very smooth while making my cut. But it definitely could have turned into kickback very quickly! When I made that video, I was still pretty new to table saws, hence the long baggy sleeves...

@@HowIDoThingsDIY I haven’t made the sled, I’ve been trying to mark and cut them. Not working out well, but I’m gonna build the sled tomorrow and see how that goes! I’m hopeful because I love my crosscut sled, I can’t believe I didn’t make one sooner
