You could learn this and perfect it within 3 years of 4 hours of practice every day. But not even beginning to play it untill you've had proper lessons for those 3 years. Playing it this well, though, would take another 2 years. The more music you learn in those first three years will determine how well it you'll be able to play this piece. Good luck. It's very possible if you're determined.

It honestly isn't that hard at all lol, only thing that would mess you up if you're a beginner are the dynamics of the song as well as when you have to use legato and sostenuto. The arpeggios, eh they're just scales played fast so you know. Just practice and you'll see how easy this actually is 🤣

Obviously, a consummate player. But also, what a creative arrangement! There were so many moments in this piece that contradicted my stylistic, rhythmic, and harmonic expectations of the song. The lullaby-like interpretation of the theme in the beginning was one of these surprising moments. And the crescendoed downward run straight into the main waltz theme was so cool! I was not expecting that rhythmically at all. Also interesting was the way your creative interpretation had, at many points, shades of romantic composers that I could maybe name if I knew more about the subject (could I say Rachmaninoff, for one? You obviously have a love for bombastic, wide chords and of octaves). The cadence at 3:50 was harmonically very creative and one of these moments. If I had a critique, it would be, first, that the very dry staccato got a bit overused; I would have liked to savor some of those notes and chords a bit more (particularly the last chord, which sounded angry-why?). Also, I think you could have played with the tempo a bit more: the waltz felt a bit march-like and belabored; this piece has to have a lilt to it as well. But overall, this was an astonishing performance.

I checked your comment below and realized that Kyle Landry composed this arrangement, but you played it so compellingly and well that I figured it was your arrangement.

I'm confused as to why such an informative and helpful comment has less likes than another one that says "full of emotion nice".

um sorry can you give me your TLDR? lol

I am a bit confused as to what you mean. I am stating that your comment was very helpful and provided an excellent review of this cover and was wondering why someone who said "Omg you are good! Marry me >< jk!" has more likes on their comment than you.

TLDR means "too long, didn't read." People sometimes use it as a noun, as in, "Can you give me your TLDR?" meaning a brief summary. So I'm just making fun of people who wouldn't read our comments.

are you classically trained by any chance? it's so rare that i hear a cover of anime music with such musicality *__* would love to hear more of your playing!! alas there is only one recording on your channel (though it's a beautiful one

kyle laundry goes out of tempo quite a lot and is not consistent throughout his performance, he's good at arrangements but there are way better performers, catfune being one of them, this was perfect.
