What do you mean regret! This song is beautiful and requires some skill! If you had the dedication to learn this as your first piece then you have already achieved greatness! Now you move on to the next piece and when you learn that one you will learn another and with each experience from practicing to memorizing to making the song your own you will only continue to grow as a pianist and a person.

I do have a very good suggestion: Lean on Me - the old pop song but I forgot who it is by but it is really good as a starter song This song helped me with left hand coordination and also taught me what the notes are Begin with c major pop songs as they are usually very simple (mostly it honestly really depends) There are many books which have a list of good songs to play as a beginner Also MARKIMOOOOO

Remember when you try this out, practice right hand first without the left hand. Once you've memorized and are comfortable with the right hand, try learning the left hand *separately* and then once you've got that done, try adding both!

I played the piano a few years ago but gave it up for violin but sometimes for December I like to play piano songs as it feels more festive It has been a couple of years since I played piano but playing this song just gave me a rush of nostalgia and it was amazing for me to rush through this song both hands at 1.75x speed It’s odd tho bc I never got to this level when I was playing piano so honestly I think it was determination which got me through

Especially when it's like this, it's only one note at a time. So long as you take your time, you could learn (and memorize) this in one 2-hour session, maybe less if you already know how to play.

Good start! The left hand may seem very difficult but the right and left hand play similar note lengths at the same time so it is just a case of pressing two keys at the same time I hope that helps!

Ima document every day I practice this until I learn it (month/day/year btw) *Day 1: 3/15/21*- starting with the green and my right hand, pretty hard but I’m doing good for a first try! I started struggling at 2:03 otherwise was getting the hang of it. *Day 2: 3/16/21*- i’m doing pretty well and i’ve made it pretty much half way through the video with only my right hand. at first its hard but try practicing more piano you’ll memorize the keys without even learning piano I dont know, I never learned piano, I just play it.
