Just imagine, as you ride thro' that untouched road on your himalayan, how many horse drawn carts & wagons rode thro' there in lives past. Fascinating, really nice video, thanks. As much history as rings on that tree.

That means a lot to me, thank you… I really enjoy riding my Himalayan and being able to get to anywhere I want to go, and being able to put the story to film has turned into something I truly love doing. Thanks again Ray for the kind words and I’ll see ya on the next adventure! 🍻😎

I really enjoyed watching this; the first of your videos I've seen. Great bike (I have one too!) and an amazing ride through those special trees. I was mindful that the trees were there probably decades before that road/trail. Di iawn as we say in Wales (that's "vary good"

I’m glad you liked the video Steve, there is more coming soon, and thanks for subscribing. Some of those trees may have been there for well over a thousand years, the oldest ever recorded was a little over 2400 years old. Love my Royal Enfield Himalayan, so much fun to ride! Cheers!

I find these Redwoods immensely interesting Forrest, and I thank you for your content. I worked among small Redwoods in Scotland as a coach tour driver/guide until recently, and my passengers know only too well that one of my ambitions is to experience them in their natural surroundings.... One day Forrest, one day........ Thanks again buddy. 😊

Thanks Shayne! 😂 I have to laugh just a bit cuz I bought my Himalayan last December, the same day I got my license 😂 in fact, I stopped at a different city on the way to buy the bike (300 miles away in Oregon) to goto the Department of Motor Vehicles and get my motorcycle license then rode the bike home 300+ miles the next 😂 Thanks for watching, more videos coming soon 😎🍻 You’re gonna love that bike when you get it!

Hello from Blighty. Just discovered your channel. Absolutely love the content. Relevant (in that I ride an RE Interceptor, but I am thinking of adding a Himilayan to the garage), extremely relaxing and so educational. Really appreciate you sharing your times on the road. Very much look forward to more of the same. And thank you sir. Very best wishes Justin

Hi Justin, I’m glad you like the channel and thank you for subscribing! More adventures are definitely on the way! If you’re considering buying a Himalayan all I can say is do it. It’s a great bike and I highly recommend it. I will be leaving soon for a three week long trip to Canada from California and will be filming it for the channel. Maybe it will help you decide if you want to buy one or not lol. Safe rides my friend!🍻😎

Do a cross country tour brother, u will be the first one. Royal Enfield might even sponser you, they always do! As the Himalayan is going on the South Pole adventure, you can head North or across country. Good Luck!!!

Congratulations on the new motorcycle, you’re gonna love that bike! as far as the hand guards go, all I did was start calling around to all of the dealerships that were in the state of California where I live until I found someone who had a set and then bought them and had them mail them to me. Glad you enjoyed the videos and thanks for subscribing to the channel, I’m working on a new series that will be camping in the national forest of California on multi day trips. Hopefully they’ll be out soon. Cheers!!

A couple of Questions. Been kicking around the idea of getting a Himalayan and just wondered how fast you can cruise down the road without putting any undue strain on the engine? Also would like to know about the campgrounds in the park? Really enjoyed your video and looking forward to more.
@NorthboundMotorcycleADV
@NorthboundMotorcycleADV 3 жыл бұрын
I’m glad you like the videos Ronald, and thanks for subscribing, there will be a lot more on the way. To answer your questions, there are three main campgrounds within Redwood national park all of which have to have reservations made in advance online and cost $35 a night. I am planning a new series on camping in the redwoods which will be starting soon and I will be going over in detail all the camping options throughout the park. As for how fast a Himalayan can go without stress, it will go up to about 80 however I have not taken mine over 75, the sweet spot for that bike is 50 to 55 on the back roads. I do have to ride Highway 101 quite a bit with the speed limit of 65 which I do all the time and the bike does fine. I would recommend this book to anyone. Again thanks for watching! Cheers!

@NorthboundMotorcycleADV

I actually camped just outside of redwood national park in a forest service campground that was half the price. In order to actually stay in the park itself you have to register ahead of time and online. Thank you so much for subscribing to the channel and I look forward to bringing more videos your way soon.
