Highly radioactive winds, one of few sounds that could be heard a few weeks after the nuclear holocaust. You sought refuge in an old railroad tunnel, abandoned and tracks removed many years before nuclear armageddon took a brief few hour hold of the earth. You sat quietly on the old rail bed, wondering how long you had left on this world which was now reduced to a mere shell of it's former self. All you had were the distant memories of your friends and family as well as the life you once had. As you pondered, you started to wonder which will take me first? Hypothermia from the onset of nuclear winter or the slow and agonizing demise of radiation sickness? You hoped for hypothermia.
