Howrah station is the largest Railway Station Complex in India serving the twin cities of Kolkata and Howrah. Located on the banks of the Holy river Ganges, the complex has 23 platform and serves both Eastern and South Eastern Railways.Well connected by bus routes, taxi service and ferry service the staion serves millions of daily and long distance commuters each day. To be precise 1372 railway stations are directly connected to Howrah station. Metro railway is also under construction to connect Salt Lake and Sealdah (SDAH) station.

@@aryannayak87jj Completely wrong. Kolkata has two major stations - Sealdah and Chitpur. Howrah railway station comes under Howrah division, Sealdah railway station comes under Sealdah division. Howrah is not Kolkata, it is a separate city, separate municipal corporation, separate district, separate railway division. By your logic, Secunderabad is in Hyderabad? NCR is only a regional planning name. It is not a political division or administrative division. NCR is just a name. Is Kejriwal CM of Gurgaon or is Gurgaon administered by Delhi police? Does Kolkata police operate in Howrah? Is Firhad Hakim mayor of Howrah?

লবির একটা ঘড়ি কে বললেন বিগ ক্লক , আসল ঘড়িটাই তো দেখালেন ই না ,যা কিনা পুর্ব রেলের ওল্ড কমপ্লেস্কের উপরে রয়েছে । আট ও নয় নং প্লাটফর্ম দেখালেন না যেখানে গাড়ি নিয়ে ঢোকা যায় । দক্ষিন পুর্ব রেলের 21 22 নং ও।দেখালেন না ‌।
