To anyone that sees this, (and this video was great by the way) the fire rate and trigger response can be even further increased by using a deans wired 11.1 LiPo. Keep up the great vids!

You are correct, the mosfet is wired with deans anyways, but if you don't want to do the full mosfet installation, you can just install a Deans connector and use an 11.1v battery, and get very similar performance and trigger response.

I have been trying for over an hour to get housing to align to the back of the motor and I just can't seem to get the cover, to slot over the motor. Thanks for all the great content. Helo! Sorry for the late reply, the only issue I have with them is making sure the wiring is routed the correct way around the pistol grip, after that there can be a push needed to get the motor down through the hole into the gearbox, BUT after that it should be smooth and springy to go into place, then just sheer grip strength whilst you quickly try to fumble the screws back into place to hold it down ha ha. Hi Pheas, will a Perun V2 Hybrid Mosfet fit in the TK45? I have a G&G ARP9 with the Perun Mosfet & know a Titan will also fit in that but just need to confirm for the TK45 as you mention that it is a V2 gearbox but has slight differences, thanks.

Hiya. You need a V2 rear wired titan. I would advise getting an advanced one as it comes with the usb programming chip to plug into a phone / computer. After the install, use the usb chip and your phone or computer to recalibrate the selector to make sure it picks it up correctly. Hope that helps! Pheas

Thanks for the comment! I would say they look lidentical to normal version 2 gearbox based stuff so you should generally be able to replace them all with your preferred brands.

@@Verasign it should take any rail, but the nut that's used to secure the barrel on is screwed on by the hulk or something as its proving to be near impossible to remove. But once that's off technically you should be able to fit any rail you wanted.

Hiya, there is a way to do it without removing the contact, means removing the stock tube, whilst holding the wires as it doesnt come off like a normal aeg, but its easier usually (and less likely to catch / tear the wires) if you solder the connector on again afterwards. Pheas

Hiya, thanks for the comment. The tk45 has the recoil system, but doesn't have the lock off system for the magazine being empty, but the magazine does feed every bb in the magazine. They had to remove the cutoff feature so that the gate titan could be fitted.

Thanks for the question and the compliment. On using the advanced version on the recoil version and the basic version on the tk45c. The titans are physically identical between the advanced and basic, it's just the software on them that's different. Either one will fit in either of the tk45 variants. Hope that helps.

@@ThagulGG it's not the ngrs you need for the titan. The ngrs is specific to the Tokyo marui recoil shock series. The standard V2 rear wired gearbox type titans are what you need for the tk45. Kwa have specifically made the gearbox compatible with the V2 gearbox titan, at the cost of the magazine cut off.

hiya, the motor will get warm from the active breaking it is doing to stop the motor spinning. so the Warmth is totally fine, if it gets HOT then either something is wrong or you have just completed over done the spamming of single shot ha ha ha. Pheas

Hello! If you are adding the titan, then the stock motor will get hot with active breaking in effect, you could run a warhead (expensive) for superior trigger response and no real heat build up, or look at a good quality high torque motor with a fan. AK2M4 in the uk do XT motors which have fans in which run a lot cooler. Pheas

Hello! If you have a gate installed then it's likely the motor heat is from active breaking being applied to the motor. The stock Motors get warm fast from it. If no gate titan, then something is causing resistance so could be too tight shimming or something with the wiring or something in the gearbox making it hard to spin the gears. Pheas

Hiya, thanks for the question. The gearbox is exactly the same, the tk45, the T6 and the new qrf all have the same one, so the installation is exactly the same. Apart from you don't need to cut the deans off the end initially, you can fit it completely without modding. I have done another video for the non recoil version of this have a look for the TK45C one. Hope that helps.

Hiya, if you check out my videos, I did an install on a tk45c (the non recoil) which combined with this one is identical to the qrf mod 1. The main difference from this one is that you don't need to clip off the deans connector, it's an easier install. Otherwise pretty much identical. Thanks for the compliment.

Hi, thanks for the question and comment. The gearbox in a tk45 is a version 2 gearbox, it needs the version 2 rear wired gate titan to work. If he had ordered a version 3 titan it won't fit unfortunately.

@@jeffreylau7255 The gearbox number is a bit counter intuitive, but its about the features built into the gearbox and not the type of gearbox. so the 3.0 gearbox they feature in the some of their stuff usually has a mag cut off (although they have stopped doing this now to enable the titan to be fitted) and recoil. The 2.5 is typically the same gearbox as the 3.0 but has a variable fps system in it. They use the numbering system to indicate that its different and has more than a typical gearbox. So the gearbox in a TK45, T6, QRF, TK45C they are all the same gearbox, based off a version 2 gearbox, but with additional features. So if you get a titan for your TK45 then it needs to be the Version 2 Rear wired edition. Hope that helps. Pheas

If it was the non recoil version yes, but the recoil needs the normal piston and spring system to power it. But if your happy to loose the recoil then you should be all good.

Have you had any experience dropping a Titan into the TK45c? If so, were there any major complications?

I have done a c the other day. It's easier to install into a 45c as you don't need to remove the battery connector at all from the wiring. It took me around an hour to do the whole thing and test afterwards. Other than that and the stock being slightly different the rest is the same as in the video.

Most of the content is focused on the recoil version (which is amazing) its worth getting the advanced version of the titan if you have the cash to do so! The extra features are worth the money (but that's because I like to tinker)

Hey if trigger response/semi auto fire were my main concerns with this gun, what would be worth upgrading? Should I be fine with dropping a Titan and adding a tunable trigger?

@@rmonsterz8303 you could just use an 11.1v lipo and that would give you snappy trigger responce and a great rate of fire. The titan will make a massive difference especially if you want to run a 7.4v lipo, but personally I wouldn't use a tunable trigger as the titan allows you to set trigger how far you have to pull the trigger as it uses optical sensors to detect trigger positions, so you can adjust the distance of pull to fire in their control app or using the tactical programming card. Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately the titan won't fit in the gearboxes before the tk45 due to the internal structure of them. Although the outside of the gearbox is technically very similar to the tk45, as soon as I've got the chance, I am planning on seeing if I can fit a tk45 gearbox(with titan) into my Ronin recon recoil which had the same gearbox as the vm4.

I don't think it would go in this due to the recoil system. If you got the tk45 edition then I think it should fit ok.
