I have a hp envy 17in that wouldnt turn on last night, the charging port light is lighting up "went from oragne to white so it charging" but my power light comes on for 15 seconds and then off for 3 seconds back on for 15 seconds etc, i tried taking the battery out and holding power for 30 seconds, i left the battery out all night, finally got it to load a bios system but i have to be fast bc it only last for probably 30 seconds to 2 minutes. I ran a quick harddrive test it said "no hard drive installed. Please check the power and data cables are connected properly" the charging cord is the charging light lights up and changes as it chsrges as normal. Im trying to do your method but my bios system wont running long enough idk what to do to get it to besides beat time.

Yo Check this. The video didn’t work for me. Still was showing the same screen. But I had an idea and I opened the laptop and with my hands spread out pressed down gently but still firmly on the keyboard for a couple moments, then tried to start it up again. It worked. Started up like normal. The hard drive must have got loosened somehow inside the laptop and pressing down like that fixed it.
