I just started doing Crayola handlettering and I am so into it now thanks to your channel! Yours is my favorite. I went to Michaels today for the first time in probably 15 years and when I saw the tombow section in person for the first time and got to write with one I lost it. Hahaha. You will absolutely love the Staedtler fineliners, 2018 will be my third year using them and they are fantastic! I recommend these if you love bullet journaling and taking notes but not for stuff like calligraphy...

I have the 80 pack of Zig Real brush pens and they are sooo pretty! I mainly use them for watercolor art though, sometimes a coloring book. I'm with you on the opinion that they are not as good with calligraphy, especially for a beginner like me!

To remove the words on the paper when using the frixion pen you can use a hair dryer😂. I discovered it last year. Lol. It disappears everything neatly if the writing is big and wont remove right.

i once read an article about that. it is because the reason the ink is erasable is because of heat. when u rub the eraser, it creates heat causing the words to disappear. just wanted to share that

One brand of pens I never see on social media is the Studio Series Fine-Line marker set that you can get from Barnes and Noble. They come in thirty colors and I hope I can get a new set for my birthday (which is in six days.).

the frixon erasable pens are heat erasable so if you heat up the page with a hairdryer or something like that then all the ink is removed

I really suggest you try out the ZIG kaleidolines starter set they have the water colour pens and some I believe lettering and outline pens. They are all black and there is a 0.1 tip, a 0.5 tip, a medium flexible tip and a fine flexible tip. I believe you can get them on amazon or eBay

Crayola surprised me For the association we test them, they are perfect to hand letter, and they are cheap, bold (important with deep psychotics) and there are many colors in the pack (for 15€, around 13$, we can get 50 of them) I love them!

Thank you so much! It's the Leuchtturm 1917 dotted notebook. It's more of a journal and not specifically for hand lettering, but I love the dot grids and this is a really pretty (all white on the cover) journal. I also like to use the Rhodia dot grid pad for just practice if I don't necessarily need it to go in a journal. It's a bit cheaper (like $10 on amazon, depending on the size) and the paper is still really smooth with a dot grid. Thanks for watching!

No, that's a good question! I very rarely accept sponsored videos & if I do, I try to mention it very obviously because I never want anyone to feel misled! Very rarely companies will send me products, but again I usually decline unless it's something that I actually think will work or I've used before & I always mention when they were gifts. I do make some money from the ads on my channel which is how I justify buying so many pens (lol), but for the most part I just try to buy affordable products or ones that people are requesting. In the end, my thoughts are usually that I'd rather me spend money on something, try it out and share it with all of you, then have all of you spend money only to find something is a dud. I try to keep my reviews detailed & honest because different things work for different people and sometimes what works for me might be awful for someone else. Hope that helps & thanks for watching!
