Most of these features already exist in the previous version upgrading to this only brings a few useful features while also degrading battery life and introducing various unknown bugs so i like to stick to current color os 13 which is stable with no bugs as such and sufficient battery life i might upgrade after a year or 2.

HyperOS is basically MiUI if it was further refined. It's great tbh. You will get great lockscreen customisations. You won't get the real HyperOS through update on any phone which isn't Xiaomi 14 series or Redmi K60 series or their upcoming phones. What you are essentially getting is an Android based skin,not their true VELA based HyperOS.

Nope🥲 But you do get the option to disable their garbage Media player on Lockscreen. So what you can do is replace that shit with a KWGT widget by using Lockscreen widget apk.

It seems to be most refined Nd feature packed. The icons are nice the overall UI is nice and has to be the best android there. Quality of videos bringing the deatils to the color os and other os is just too food.

It's good OS, but in games it lockes FPS, when the phone slightly warmed up. For example, Brawl Stars. It lockes FPS from 120 to 45. It's awful

Try forcing the refresh-rate to Max with SetEdit. In case of OOS 14, SuperCell games run on 120(atleast in case of flagships they do)

I have Oppo A58 with 6GB RAM & 128GB ROM. Recently updated to Android 14 Color OS 14 and none of these features are available. No always on display, I can't copy paste images out of a photo, I can't see that dynamic island thing. I don't get it, is there a special setting tab I need to hit?! I can't even set my screen refresh rate! None of these awesome features and I'm hating my phone cause it's very basic!

Unfortunately, the file drop is not working with facebook Messenger. I cannot drag and send images from Messenger. Neither the file drops are working on WhatsApp. This is the problem with Android. Apps compatibility is really bad. iOS is so much better - a new feature will sure to work on every app.

Hi guys, anyone with Oppo A98 5G already updated to ColorOS 14? Does the extract content function work? On my phone I don't get that "extract content" button when making a screenshot. I can only drag the screenshot into File Dock or if i open the gallery and try to extract an object from the photo, that works as well. The text extraction on the other hand does not work at all.
