Thank you! Made it from A4 paper so the proportions seem a bit different but it flies like a charm as long as I pitch the nose slightly upwards when throwing to generate more lift. My 3 yo boy is super happy now and the little kid in me isn't sad either.

For all those who have problem with this and similar planes, I think this "standard" paper is US letter format and not A4 size used in most of the countries. Look it up, trim your paper and the tails will look better!

I thought it was clearly modeled at 15:00. You just pushed the middle inward a little and folded. Even with the volume muted, your demonstration was clear and easy to follow. Mine turned out great :)

First I'd like to say thanks for making the content. One of the biggest issues in my opinion is trying to find the correct orientation when doing each fold. Whether it is supposed to be as the video shows or a mirror image of the fold. Using paper that has a separate color on each side along with small row of arrows designating the proper up starting position it will be much easier to follow. Maybe try some other way to address those issues if this one is not practically. Thanks.

I'm using standard printer paper (white 8.5 inch by 11 inch). Its the same size as the paper in almost every printer, and it's sold in stores as "Standard printer paper." I'm sorry if I didn't clarify that as well as I should have...

Oh yes that would be why, I didn't know that! In the U.S. the paper size in millimeters is 279mm by 216mm. Not a huge difference, but yes it is different. I will take that in to consideration in the future. Thanks!

Yes it is. I am sorry for not being clear about this in the video. This is a pretty old video and at the time I was unaware that there where different standards for printer paper in different parts of the world. I have a new tutorial out for this model which might be easier to follow: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gICXfGSneJ13edE. If it is too hard to find US printer paper, cutting 2.4 cm off of the short side of the paper will make a sheet that has a similar ratio. Good Luck!
