Hey man, I wanna get to a level of freestyling similar to Juice WRLD’s. How much time would it take me to be able to freestyle continuously for at least 5 minutes with a couple bars ? And can you talk about your own experience ?

It depends how long you practice each day. Starting with really basic one syllable end rhymes with slow beats or even a metronome was where I started. As I got more comfortable I started trying to fill the bars out more, so instead of just saying a rhyme on the 4, I’d start rapping on or just before 3 and rhyme on 4. That way I was learning to say more than just the end rhyme, but giving myself time to think.Then I worked back to 2 and then to 1 so it just became continuous. Enough of that, as Coach Drew said, and your brain wires and you end up being able to go for longer than you’d think. The real keys for me were patience with myself and multiple short sessions a day, always trying to push a little outside of my comfort zone. If you get in the habit of practicing every day until it just becomes normal, I’m sure you’ll be flying past your 5’ goal in no time!
