OMG, my hoya Wilbur Graves is turning pink. It's getting about 2400 fc for 12 hrs and LOOOVESSS IT. The silver is gorgeous, but the pink tone to it is just at another level.

Every one of them is so pretty!! My Wilbur Graves is growing a little weird. You grow in brighter light than I do, which may be partly responsible, but the leaves on mine are growing more long and narrow. The silver on them is awesome, but I'm not loving the leaf shape. It's still a young plant, so I'm hoping it'll turn a corner at some point. Enjoy your trip to NY!!

Philodendrons die on me so often but Hoyas never do. I also use Pon! Well it’s actually kind of like a mix of pon and bonsai “soil.” Even when I lost interest in plants for two years my mom was able to keep them alive at her house with just Los Angeles tap water lol. Okay a bunch did die when my greenhouse cabinet was infested by ants but I just don’t use a cabinet anymore 🤪

How are you doing it???? 🤯 Everytime I put my hoyas on a trellis I am very disapointed of their look, I don't even know how to clip the veins 🙈 your hoyas are stunning, what is the secret? 🙂 Do you clip the veins down eventually?

Hi there, love your videos. I live in Ontario as well. What kind of wire did you use for that one? Hoya where you put the wire in the middle as well I’d like to try that because I agree about the bigger Leaves starting when it gets to the top if that makes sense

Kevin, that’s my brother’s name too! I love you sooo much. You remind me of myself. I’m an introvert too, but people also think I’m not. Go figure! Just because you’re nice, kind, and will talk to people, people automatically think you’re a social butterfly…not! Anyways, to my point! I love Hoyas , but my grow situation is such. I have a nw window and w, so I use grow lights. My question is what wattage is best to get them to bloom and grow their best. I have barina t5 (2)/ shelf in nw an a 20 w hanging above. In west just t5 barinas and a 10 watt on 1 shelf for my tequila sunrise. Is this enough or should I bump up light? I just started my collection this year. I have a obavata splash for 2 that’s been in west window with no supplemental light, but hasn’t bloomed. Thanks for your input 🙏😊
