The english cast list on this is wild for being a fan work, for the unaware, Chris Faielle is the Voice Director responsible for the English dub of Genshin Impact, Adam Michael Gold is the former EN VA of Argenti and Mr Tail in HSR, Andrew Russell is the VA of Boothill in HSR(and husband of Navia/Yunli’s VA in Genshin/HSR, Brenna Larsen) and Hsyden Daviau is a VA in their own right but specifically has connections to MiHoYo because they’re engaged to Alehandro Saab (VA of Cyno, Jing Yuan, and Anton Ivanov in Genshin, HSR, and ZZZ respectively). It’s not unusual for HoYoFair to have the JP or CN VA’s partake in one or two works, but it’s almost unheard of on the EN Dub side of things, I’d love to see more of this!

Awesome animation and style, especially during the fight scenes! Though, I'm a little confused about a few things: so I have to imagine that Alhaitham, Lyney, and Lynette are their own faction (the Fatui), and it looked like Itto and Kaveh were allied with Kaeya (because they were seen offering to distract Alhaitham when he first showed up), but in the scene that showed how the jewel was stolen, it looked like Lyney and Lynette helped *Kaveh* swipe the jewel while Alhaitham and Kaeya were fighting? I was also a little confused about Wriothesley shouting "They've got a gun" *after* Alhaitham was disarmed? Speaking of Wrio, please tell me he didn't get killed when that rocket launcher blew up the tower :P (he was nowhere to be seen after the explosion) Anyways, I'm not trying to be nitpicky or critical, I would just genuinely like clarification on these points.

I think it's implied that Lynette disguised herself as Alhaitham and fought Kaeya, and Lyney, who was disguised as Kaveh, stole the jewel when that was happening. It was commented by Kaeya "I wondered where Alhaitham got all that flair," which supports this. Although, I'm mostly on the same boat as you. Awesome animation but, still overall confused about what was going on. Considering the fact Lyney and Lynette disguised themselves as Alhaitham and Kaveh and Kaeya and Itto were heavily insistent to try and save Alhaitham in the end, does this imply that Alhaitham was formerly a part of the Kaeya, Itto and Kaveh group before leaving and allying himself with the Fatui which is why Wriothesley attacked them and considered them both an enemy? I'm still mostly unsure and hope that this is clarified in the next episode because I like the idea of this AU (and, also if Alhaitham flipping died or not) 😅

What this would probably benefit from is *context* which I hope is added in the next episode to fully understand what is going on. We, as the viewers, are just fully thrown into the Tayvet heist but, not everything is really made clear e.g. who is Alhaitham actually aligned too? How are Lyney and Lynette possibly linked with Kaeya?
