Pls read John 14. No one is asking you to stop honoring Mary. Stop directing your prayers to her. Mary is just a vessel used to accomplish salvation of mankind. Judas, peter, Joseph, Simon the Arimathea, and many others. She is just favoured because there are many other virgins at the time. "JESUS is the way, the truth and the life, no one goes to my father except through me" not through my mother. You claim to be a Christian but you disobey JESUS'S direction for prayers. Do you also say in Mary's name? Maybe GOD should re-do it and send Mary instead, so that you people will be asking her son to pray for you. Do you follow the bible teachings and the words of GOD? or you for your quest to honor Mary? Choose one

You claim to be a Bible student yet you do not know that Mary is the mother of all Christians. Read Revelation 12vs17. How do you feel comparing Mary's role in the plan of salvation with that of Joseph of Arimathea and others? Do you hate Mother Mary that much? Jesus for sure is the only way to God but honor must be given to whom is due. His mother deserves such honor which God almighty honored her first. You said she is not the only virgin in her time, yes, that is true. But is it easy to be a virgin in the first place? Can you swear you are still virgin if you are single or you married as a virgin? Pls, stop dispising the mother of your saviour. You honor your pastor's wife and ask for her prayers, how much more the virgin mother of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? God bless you

I was privileged to be in a mass where Bishop Onah was the chief celebrant at St. Mulumba's Catholic Parish New Haven Enugu in December last year. All I can say is he exudes so much wisdom and talks fact without fear of anybody. He's so far the only person I've enjoyed his homily in a long while.
