The only interviewer who hasn't interrupted him and allowed the man to SPEAK...........

He is just so cute. His personality is so very sweet. I love the fact that he's awkward, but he's super humble. And of course his voice and music are incredible. He's an amazing artist, he's definitely going to be up there with all the amazing artists in history. I haven't seen him perform yet, but I will probably faint when I do!

Great set of questions! Hozier clearly enjoys this interview much more than when he's asked about the meaning of 'church' or how to pronounce his name. Finally somebody took the time to prepare the interview well, and it pays off!

Carolina van der Lande Thanks so much for the kind comment. I'm really a fan of his so I wanted to ask questions that I thought other fans might want to know.

And that's exactly what you did. I wish more interviewers would do that!

Because he's an intelligent person and his answers are much more interesting when he's asked intelligent questions

I got to sit down with Hozier before his show at The Masonic in San Francisco. We discuss his massive hit "Take Me to Church," his hometown Bray, playing Coachella, reading poetry, San Francisco, and what he wants in his will.

I truly appreciate this interview! I've seen a couple of other interviews that were quite horrible. One girl kept interrupting him and constantly asked him questions about the Kardashians... Great job and great questions! It looked like he enjoyed this interview more than his others as well!

Well researched, intelligent questions. I was lucky enough to have been at that show at The Chapel, definitely a great memory. Thanks for this! :)

Laughed so hard at the idea of him up all night with a pot of coffee and supreme dedication- digging up graves to get his ideal Newport concert going.

Done the Bray to Greystones walk late last year with the lads. Beautiful part of Ireland. Great to get out of Dub. The few tins we had weren't too bad also!
