Truly a master of his own voice. Hozier is one of those outstanding singers that are only born once every few generations.

I "suffered" a good couple hours exactly 1 week ago today in Newcastle watching him, his fab band & support act....Best suffering of my life 😆🥰

Sometimes I rewatch a performance of his from years ago thinking I could watch just a part of it and click out of the video, but I could never NOT finish a song from him no matter how many times I’ve seen it before. Ever. It’s incredible.

I was imagining a much angrier version of this song in my head. But he sings it with love instead and this makes the point even more so than the lyrics, and it humbles me. Such a gentle and sensual man. The dramatic looks he throws occasionally (e.g. @9:52, @10:50) work something deep in me. I think I am falling in love.

Strange.....I'm hearing and seeing Hozier perform his own song yet, in my mind I'm 'hearing' the voice / vocals of Dolly Parton singing this very same some. I'm thinking in her younger days when she was singing more of her Appalachian songs. Does anyone else in the community agree?
@chrizeldabernil83236 жыл бұрын
I would've thought Like Real People Do would've been more Dolly's alley. In fact I've imagined her liking that particular song.
@Anhorish6 жыл бұрын
Bluegrass has Irish/Scottish roots, hence the Appalachian vibe.
