I was happy to hear that hp stands for hinge problems. I changed ssd on my new hp, sometime during taking back off and reopening to press power button, the left hinge ripped out of the remaining two screw posts, was a f’n mess. The lid contains one or two of the hinge fasteners and with back lid removed, the remaining posts apparently very fragile. Super glue, baking soda and a little skill and lots of luck, has held together for two years now. Great video and really appreciate your channel.

Good video. I had to go to the Google and find out what causes BSOD after cloning. (Go to the boot section, and set the cloned SSD as the boot drive in BIOS)

Have you done a 2024 HP x360? It has one long strip and then two feet looking things at the bottom. I’m wondering if there are screw’s under the feet.

Hi. Yes, there should be screws. Especially in the back in the hinge area.

Hi Dale, I failed to continue installing window 11 23H2 on Hp 17.3, saying that there is no drive to install windows like you, but I saw that you did something on previous video when upgrading it, I think you installed the IRST driver, where I failed to find it through the intel website, it seems like the Zip file is not available at the moment. so if you can provide me those drivers through google driver I will be very grateful. Please

⁠@@whatteverrInstall hdd is easy just use your favorite search engine for the SATA cable for your model I got mine on Amazon from China for a few bucks. I upgraded my hp with 1Tb Nvme and 500Gb ssd . All drives working fine.
