The only thing this video forgot to include at the beginning is the need to un-snap the bottom lid from the main laptop housing with a plastic tool. Other than that I appreciate it because I had no idea there were screws under the rubber feet.

Yes, you can use it without battery. In this case on the boot you will see a message that says there isn't any battery in the notebook. You can skip this message.

Hi! Most of the newer HP notebooks such as this do not have a CMOS battery. The internal battery maintains the clock and BIOS settings.

Hi, I have already replaced the battery with a new genuine HP one, but if it is charged to 100% and connected to the power supply, it will not discharge. If, on the other hand, it discharges slightly, when you connect the power supply it says "connected" to the mains, but the battery does not charge! What can i do to fix this? That you know, this model besides the battery, also has the CMOS / RTC battery hidden somewhere else? Thanks!

Hi, I guess it's normal. It will only charge when it drops below a certain percentage. This model has no CMOS battery.

Hi! If you have a CMOS error try the following options: 1. Restart the computer. A restart usually creates a new checksum and eliminates the error. 2. Download a BIOS update from the motherboard manufacturer's website. 3. Reset the BIOS. 4. If these steps didn't work, please consult a computer expert or a service.

Excuse me, man; but does this laptop have an ssd m.2 slot? I can only see an hdd one because I don't owe your eyes. I got this laptop, and since I don't know if it provides a slot for it, I can't decide if buying the article or not.
