Thank you for watching. You will be able to separate it still, not a strong adhesive. It looks a bit problematic but really it is not.

If the battery is out of power, do I still need to open the notebook to disconnect it?

Thank you for watching. Even if you drained your battery still disconnect if from the motherboard if you intend to touch any of the components and especially the screen panel connector.
