+Avinash Birambole i bought this printer recently...and i can personally tell you that the colour printout quality is quite good, provided that you use glossy photo paper....however, it seems like the colour cartridge runs out pretty fast..i printed out probably 15 to 16 colour printouts, and the ink indicator is already at the lowest....

Hi Lorrainne, try changing the printing quality in the printer settings. You can lower ink usage there. If you are using Windows, click start, look for devices and printers under control panel.. I guess the cost is the factor that differentiates performance and quality. The 4 series is much more advanced but costs nearly 1.5 K more with the same cartridge. Its got a faster print rate and better UI.. no buttons I guess, just touch screen. :) thanks for checking.. please do subscribe!

+nazirdjon It's not a top-of-the-line printer. It's not a crappy one, but this printer came free with a laptop I bought. It is slow for me but only because I use it wirelessly. There is no actual connection between the printer and my laptop. I've never printed photos so I cant speak about those...

Hi Monica, the laptop is already wifi ready. Just do the pairing as per the instructions given. its a couple of buttons and it should connect to your router. Software is buggy but you dont really need it for the wifi to work. :) Thanks for asking.. please do subscribe to my channel. Thanks a ton!

Hi RTech I bought this device today and it's working OK but I have two questions. 1) A password was made by itself on the network WIFI of the printer so when I try to connect from my cell phone or another laptop I can't. HI Hossam. I think you have selected the direct wifi connect option. This creates the automatic wifi password. What you need to do is to add the printer to the exisiting WiFi network. 2 Ways to do this is one, use a WPS option meaning, a certain combination of buttons on the printer activates this, and you will need to immediately press the WPS button on the router. Other method is to install the driver on a CD and then adding the WiFi option using the settings. thanks for asking!

RTech well that isnt true both models are wireless and pretty much have the same specs, some areas will sell 3630 and some sell 3636, HP's official site sells the former, both also have the same drivers. Just got one a few days ago so did the research after I asked this. Thanks anyway

Hey Tony, seemed like an annoying issue to me initially. But heres is what I had found "It sounds like the machine is printing an alignment page each time it's turned on. The printer will continue to print this page until you scan it to complete the alignment process. To complete the alignment process, you need to put the page that the printer prints out on the scanner glass (as shown in the image below) and press the Start Copy Black and the Start Copy Color buttons together and the printers scans the alignment page and completes the process. Although the printer is great, I don't recommend this HP product due to the faulty software they make. The day starts with a wonderful error while scanning saying 'Scanner currently in use' and there is no easy fix

Extremely rough handling of the printer. Pulling, tugging, yanking, etc. No proper and orderly methodology to remove packing tape and shipping support items. And you set the printer right on top of your scissors. Definitely not a video I want my children to see.

The video was sooooo slow. Could have been done in 10-12 mins. The presenter was not sure of what he was talking about....too many 'I thinks'. The only reason why I watched was that the other two videos on 3635 were in Chinese. I'd rather look at the manual & install it myself. There was no comparison with other models.
